No adhesive. Made my own bracket that'll attached to the glass. The bracket is small enough that it's hidden. The bracket sits flush on the glass and there's enough room between the bracket and front trim(plastic piece that's in front of the glass), that'll allowed it to slide left and right.

Cables that run inside the channel are attached to both ends of the bracket. Cables then go to the motor.

    Pass. side.

This is BenWa's kit. See that long black piece on top, that's the bracket that attaches to the glass. I tried to study it and figure out the design of the bracket. I might have the concept in mine, but have no specials tool or machinery to produce it like he has.

For those that'll end up doing this mod themselves, highly recommend using a 2004-2010 Sienna rear vent switch. Just got done figuring out the wiring thanks to members JBCjr and Jerez. Installed and mounted in one of the blank slots.

Here's the switch. Got mine at a local auto junkyard, a lot cheaper then eBay.
    AD6DAD61-DCD1-41E7-8B10-A37098FFED33-250_5caa6f3ecfadce5939420fd46b519a59ee31a301.jpg

Here's the pin out and how it should be wired. Looking at the back of the switch as pictured below.

    #1______#5
    #2______#6
    ________#7
    ________#8
    #3______#9
    #4______#10

Pins #1 and #5 is for illumination- ground and power
    Pins #3=12V Power. #9=Ground. Pins #8=Close. #7=Open
*If Open and Close is backwards just switch wires.

I wasn't able to cut the plug from the wreck Sienna that plugs into the switch. So I bought one off of eBay, audio wire harness TWH951.

For the switch to fit snugly and perfectly to one of the blank slots, I had to shave off all side of the switch. Dremel with a sanding drum is perfect for this part.

    Before.

Had to also shave down the inside of the blank slot. Taking off little by little and test fitting. Used an exacto knife for this. (Forgot to take a pic of after)

Here it is installed. It takes a couple force to actually push it out from the back. So it's tight and flush.

Here it is illuminated, next to the fog light switch. Probably gonna switch the bulb out to amber.

Adio, that looks really nice; very clean! Has anyone found a switch that will fit snugly in the blanks under the climate controls? I don't have any blanks to the left of the steering column and I'd rather fill one of those blanks before I start cutting holes in my dash.

    Thanks!

Thanks guys, but props to those that helped with wiring diagram.

VitaminB- couldn't find one that could fit those smaller blank slot, and have that OEM look to it. But I did find this, OTRATTW switch from member krob32. It actually look pretty cool with that switch on there.

Really too bad about this mod. Like many other members I was looking forward to getting one of these. I have a DC and would use my rear window if I didn't have to open and close the window from the back on the truck all the time

Hey guys, Thank you all for keeping this thread alive. I've been watching and patiently waiting for over 2 years now on this. I too have a DC and I want this BAAADLY. I had hoped for the hidden, but at this point I'll take the semi. I can install myself. Benwa, please give us loyal followers an update, some part numbers, or at least a nod of approval for someone else to carry the banner.

The napa part number for the motor is RAY 4915905. The regulator is NOE 6656623. You would probably have to use the motor though. The regulator is kinda big.

I had it on my 2005 Tundra AC LTD, and loved it. Used it several times a week. Can't reach on a DCSB, so I'd like to see them add that as an option.
