Thanks to SGT Taco, Finally got the switches wired up for the front locker.

 

I'm Welding Up A Winch Mount That Will Be somewhat Hidden, At Least Till I Get Around To Building A Bumper for IT. does It Matter How far/Close The Fairlead is Mounted From The Winch? I've Got synthetic rope With An Aluminum Fairlead.

 

I wouldnt think so, maybe if it wasn't straigtht and came in at an angle but even then I don't see that being an issue.

 

AutoZone says It's 5 For The Gold.

 

Would You Recommend It For A Future Dual Batterie Setup?

 

The platinums are essentially Odessey 1400s. Be fine for duals I'd guess

 

What About Diehard Platinum? I Need A New batterie And Was about To Start Searching.

You did your tails with red night shades right? They came out great and are a cheap alternative to buying new tails. Does the shine look off or did you clear the tail after? Can you take a close up maybe?

Haha yeah I had to hit it with a degreaser first and then used a heat gun to dry it up so I could paint a half hour later. Still in great shape!

 

Diehard is the lonely battery I have found to survive the summer heat in Phoenix. Plus a great warranty.

 

Using my Tacoma to move into a great new (old) rental house Nice to have a two car carport where I can get the Tacoma AND my SHO out of the blazing South Florida sun. And nicely enough, the owner of the house is talking about enclosing the carport into a garage. I'd LOVE to have a garage!

Is that the Lovell brothers truck? I rode with Rodger Lovell once and omfg I thought we were going to die but it was amazingly epic. Now I feel lame when I wheel lol.

 

Hell of a wheeling trip at Potts Mountain Jeep trail in Virginia. Took 5 very capable rigs, most with front and rear lockers, crawl box, twin sticks. one with 35,36,37 and two of us with 33. Took some damage to the the passenger side bed and sliders and bud builts got beat up. ARMOR that's what it's there for. All of us had to pull string except the 4 runner that has been sas and on 37. Pictures on my build thread.

 

Nope, I refuse to tow even our own horses with the yota. We have a diesel with a legitimate hitch for that haha. I have had the horse trailer behind the yota with some serious weight in it though. The truck hates it, but the bumper didn't budge or appear to have any issues.

I would definitely email them for a quote. Like I said, its been awhile since that check got written. I believe it included powder coating. You could always save a few and rattle can it.
