I don't like the place Toyota has for the plate. I just used a "pull out" license plate gizmo from rpidesigns. It is for Corvettes, but I used it here. I have happy with the results.

Will need to remove and fill holes above plate.

    Photos attached.

    I like it

    That`s a good idea, thanks.

I just had to replace my wolf plate with the one with all the stupid numbers at the request of my friendly law enforcement, I`m sick of looking at it already.

Don`t you just love the way they drilled those huge screws right into the plastic? My dealer didn`t even drill holes first. Plastic sticking out everywhere....morons

I wish I had the choice. The dealer punched the holes to only mount their advertisement logo plate. And we aren't even required to have a front plate. I was really pissed at first, I almost made them fix it. But now I have a grill guard and a winch up there so you can't see them. Actually I forgot about it, Now I'm getting pissed all over again!

    Thanks People!!:frusty:

    Ryan,

The grill is from GrillCraft. It is great. They have several styles. Check it out. Also ordered (not arrived yet) hood struts from Redline. I think I am going to like the, as well.

You will love those Redline hood struts, it is a lot better than the fixed stock stick and it open smoothly.

Anyone know where to get a cheap black plastic frame like the pix above? I do not like attaching a metal plate directly against the painted bumper. I'll check out that rpidesigns but does anyone know another place to get these black plastic frames. Got mine in Texas and we do have to have a front plate but mine only had the indentions. I am sure some place has hundreds of them for sale, just got to find that place.

That's BS!!! I'd be pissed too, especially since you don't need the front plate. Around here, they paint the name of the dealership on the rear of the vehicle, near the emblem. Bastards!!!

^I always tell them to take the label off or $5K off the price for the advertising I am providing for them.

    Simple solution...

Super White! Dealer's decal was white to show up on the average color vehicle. They didn't bother on mine.
