You might check out Castle Rock as well. Some open spaces there and only about 20 minutes from DTC.
Nice! Only I miss the dirt days and the corner drifting. :(

Got it on the list as well, thanks man. Am I right in assuming if you are north of Longmont, go ahead and rule out working anywhere in DTC, especially during winter months. I lived in upstate NY until I was 22, so I have sat in traffic during a storm. But not a blizzard in a major city, I can guess it is much worse.

Yeah baby! I like how his pavement run in the beginning is slower because he has to run a tire suitable for both pavement and dirt. No stickies there!

Still that Red Bull run was F***ing fast. I would shit my pants all the way up going that fast, that high, with no guard rails.

My personal preference - I would say if you think you are going to work in DTC at some point don't look North of Thornton. The drive in the snow would be a disaster but on any given day our traffic on I-25 is horrific.

Sean / Ben / Ost - 120th to DTC in rush hour? 45 minutes? An hour?

to many to list, check the build thread
it would be hell trying to get down to DTC from the north in a storm, heck on normal traffic days i thing it would be horrible trying to go south to get to DTC though!!!

i used to live in broomfeild area and getting down to the north side of denver was hell sometimes. I couldnt imagine trying to get 20 to 30 minutes south of denver on a no traffic day to get to DTC. Hence why im south

I live south in highlands ranch which is to snug for you i would think, but castle rock or roxburough you could probably get some land and not be terribly far from DTC area.

Inside track on Roxborough - Stay away! They have water rights challenges and are still dealing with sewage piping challenges. You can buy a nice home cheap there for sure but unless they figure out the above it could be a dry home with some back up.

Yeah, probably more on I25. I know from the door of my previous house (Trilby & Timberline in Fort Collins) to my buddy's front door off of 120th & Huron was 45min w/o traffic. That stretch from there down to the DTC would be nearly that with decent traffic and with bad traffic could double. I know when I was commuting from our current house (NW of Loveland) to my office in Aurora it would be about 1-1.25hrs generally. In the winter that commute would extend to well over 2.5hrs and in some cases even more. That SUCKED more than I care to elaborate on. To think that every day I could have driven to Nebraska where we're from and back in less time while I was sitting in traffic was disheartening to say the least. On top of that I was an account rep and my area was Wheat Ridge/Arvada so to put 5k miles per month on my car was pretty common. The day I got laid off from ADP was one of the greatest days of my life. :D

I could make it to work, leaving at 6am from 120th and I25, and make it to Dry Creek in 30min. Going home it is always an hour, there was never a time that it wasn't at least a full hour driving going home.
