    Hey all,
Hopefully this is the correct subforum (mods, feel free to move if need be), but I'm experiencing an intermittent problem with my TRD supercharger on my '04 v6 tacoma. I have the URD 7th injector kit and a 2.2" underdrive pulley installed as well. Installed S/C and 7th about 6 weeks ago, but this has only started to happen in the past week.

At random times, it will simply "lose boost". The boost/vacuum gauge drops to -20 and it feels like I abruptly let off the gas. This happens in many situations and I haven't been able to detect any constants that make it happen. Uphill, downhill, partial throttle, hot day, freeway speeds, side streets... it seems completely random.

Belt slippage? Faulty 7th injector? Bad fuel pump?

Not sure even how to begin troubleshooting on this, especially with how intermittent it is. Has happened ~7-8 times so far.

    Thanks gurus!!

    UPDATE:
Happened 5x on the way home from work today (~25 miles), so it's safe to say the issue is becoming worse.

Some more info: I have a Scangauge II and set one of the gauges to the throttle position sensor and what I found was that the TPS value dropped to idle levels even though my foot didn't move on the gas pedal. For example, when the "dropouts" occurred, the TPS value dropped from ~25-28 (normal cruising) to 15-17 (idle).

Could the issue actually be just a faulty TPS?

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Does it happen around 2500 to 2800rpm's ?

it doesn't seem to be a consistent rpm range... but i ran across that describes my problem exactly. seeing as mine is an '04 with the drive-by-wire system, i have a feeling that i'm screwed.

Yeah that dont sound good for you. I have a cable so that wasn't an issue.
