    You should have asked before buying devil dog, I would have given you those breather parts. :p

    I went with 2-way breathers instead of the one way, so I still have those.

    Edit: By the way if you want help with that, or a reason to sit around and drink beers, let me know.

    Yup

    Next time Devil!!!!:D I appreciate the offer. This is pretty much my first mod other than replacing my head unit. Whats the deal with the 2-way breathers?

    The theory some people on here have is that when cold water hits a hot trans (or whatever) it will expand and create a vacuum. This pressure will be relieved by pulling in water/air from other areas (seals, etc). But if the breather is two-way, the vacuum will be relieved through the breather.

    But the problem with a two-way is filtration and protecting it from water. That's why I used the filters and a housing to protect mine.

    I used the one way for a while (relocated) and had water contamination when dunking the rear diff in water. So when I went back to do the rest of the breathers, I decided to give the SCUBA mod a try and do all my breathers the same way.

    I haven't had it on there long enough to test the theory yet, but I will update it when I do! Next diff oil change will be when I change the engine oil so I will be able to see if there is the same contamination.

    Just saw your write up. Pretty nice setup. Just finally starting to mod my truck. Starting small. LOL!!! So where do you go offroad in NoVa? Haven't done any offroading but than again my truck is still pretty stock. Next up when I get some extra cash is to work on the suspension. Thinking of just going with 5100's all round, OME coils, and an aal for the rear.

    I'm probably going to do the same thing with my suspension. I might just level out though and not raise the rear any, haven't decided.

    I mostly offroad when hunting/fishing, but I have gone with some guys from here a couple times up into George Wash National Forest. There are also some spots in some WMAs that were rough. But the stock skid plates hold up nicely as long as your not afraid to hammer the dents out!

    Has anyone moved the OEM or added an additional rear view camera onto their trucks? After I installed my rear bumper...I've got some visibility issues.

    [IMG]

    I am running a Pioneer deck and could add an additional camera that would pop up on the head unit - but, I would kind of like to keep the rear view mirror for my back up camera and then put in another camera up front for when I get into the rocks...preferably I'd like to mount it under the truck to help with picking lines.

    Thanks for any information in advance.

    Left on the truck:

    1. Install Safari Snorkel snorkel;
    2. Install ASFIR skidplates;
    3. Install front differential ARB air locker (DOUBLLD);
    4. Install ARB or African Outback bed drawer system;
    5. Install second battery into Sierra Expedition dual battery tray;
    6. Wire in Blue Sea Systems Fuse Panel and Battery Selector; and
    7. Install TRD supercharger.

    Not too much more...
