    tried cleaning it out with a needletip too, nothing.

    Is grease escaping from around the grease gun nozzle rather than going in?

    Some grease guns, notably cheaper ones, they will not get a good seal on the zerk to create enough pressure to push the ball in.

    Use something to push the ball bearing in to make sure it moves, then make sure the grease gun nozzle is perfectly perpendicular to (square with) the zerk, if that makes sense.

    You may need to get a better grease gun. Look into the tip for the little spring things that grip the zerk. Cheap ones may have only three (shitty seal), better ones would have 4 or 5. I just went through this with one from O'Reilly's and returned it, got one with a better tip, and bingo.

    See the black spring sections inside the nozzle of this one? There are four sections, and they follow the circumference. This is good:

    Now behold Exhibit A in this picture. 3 loosely arranged springs inside the nozzle. Total shit.
    Note that several others also have loose looking, poorly shaped springs (or whatever the fuck they are). Avoid these.

    Thanks for the advice

    But it doesn't escape around the sides....pressure just builds up to where I can't pump anymore, and I'm pretty sure no grease got in. Loosened the UCA bolt and the washer/bushing are still dry.

    And it looks as though the ball bearing is depressed without the fitting on it..so I'm thinking the bearing itself is what is clogging the zerk

    All others were fine...

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Its not the seek that's the issue. You need to rub lube on the bushings before installation, otherwise they won't accept grease properly.
