Tent only weights about 110-115# and the stated weight limit is for in transit/loaded. Stationary weight limit is not really relevant. (as I understand it anyway.) And while erected, the load is partially supported by the ladder.

Hey All, I just bought a 2013 Tacoma, Quad Cab, 4X4 and am looking to get a 3" lift on it. I don't do much off roading (although I'd like to do more) and this is my daily driver to work (about 110 miles round trip each day). I dont want to make the ride rough while I am driving to work, but I think the 3" lift with some bigger tires makes the truck look great. Any suggestions on a great lift that I can put on (websites would help) and the max size tire I could get without having to trim? NEED HELP PLEASE!! My last car that I have in the garage is a 350Z, totally different ball game!!! Thanks!

Click on the picture of my truck in my signature block. For you, full OME, 885s up front. They'll ship the struts pre-assembled so you and a buddy can tinker around in the garage and get it all installed in a day.

Talk to me about your tent! Have you been out in it? Durability? Pros vs cons?

    Yota,

Your truck looks great. How much of a lift did it amount to? Are those 16" rims? What size tire are you running?

Thanks! I ended up averaging about 3" of lift using OME all around. 18" Pro-Comp Wheels, Nitto Terra Grappler A/T 275/65 R18.

Forget my truck, is your sig pic for real? Looks boss!

Haha, thanks. Yes, I was sitting in my float tube and looked over, light was shining down and I thought to myself, "self, you should snap a pic"

Sub'd your thread so I can check out everything you've done. Those tires make the truck look like a friggin' monster.

Like it so far. Spent a couple nights in it to see how it sleeps. Don't think the mattress is as comfy as billed but is as nice as most mats I've slept on. There was a little damage during transit which makes me a little concerned about the durability of the skins, but should be a non issue in normal use. It is also billed as a 3 person tent, not a chance unless the other 2 are petite and are wearing cheerleader outfits.

No regrets so far, should have it out at least 15+ more times this season and will know more then.
