Gay Hippie Quakers..

Are all over my campus, and making the lines in the dining halls 5x as long as normal. It is a weird combination with many...interesting individuals. Pic will come tomorrow if they are still around then!

Well not nesicarily gay. I talked to one of the members about it, and she discribed it as a very VERY liberal quaker group. A lot of tye dye, rainbows and shirts that read "Gay? Fine with me!"

Very! Apparently there are over 1500 of them, some from south africa, kenya, and other exotic places

 

These people are becoming a norm on college campuses everywhere.

Haha its not always like that, but there have been some interesting groups come through here during the summer lol.

Seems some of our regular American folks can't seem to get off their asses and get a job let alone a degree.
(I'm not poking fun at those who've lost their jobs. I'm poking fun at the Americans who avoid getting a job, reep off welfare majority of their lives.)

(sorry...but hey, ain't nothing wrong with them getting an education)

 

So do they basically look like the Quaker oat man, except they're wearing tie-died shirts?

 

If he has had experiences like mine, I think he means that they are on the campuses, but not involve in scholastic activities. I see a lot of strange people on campus that use it for a meeting place.

The people here are living in the dorms for a week and using various facilities for their religious gatherings and fun/social activities.

 

Is resistance FUTILE??

 

It was very awkward when they outnumber the students in the dining hall about 30:1 and did this thing where they raise their hand in the air and every gets SILENT and starts a silent prayer.

The only open table when we got there was a raised up 2 person one right in the middle of everybody.

Everyone got silent and we stopped talking but kept eating...it was wierd
