if anyone is browsing through craigslist today, keep an eye out for a motorcycle stand that was stolen from me

stolen by some junk collectors most likely...taken this morning from my parking spot

they'll get a nice surprise next wednesday when i'm outside waiting with a baseball bat for them to come through my neighborhood again :annoyed:

Love that place. Ill prolly hit tacos rapidos though its closer to me.

I did this when I had my condo and found the person who took my Coleman camping grill. They thought I was throwing it away because of where it was sitting outside my garage. I got it back and told them I better never see them around my garage again.

    God I hate thieves.

If you don't recover it and need a stand, I'm selling a pit bull on craigslist right now.

Not trying to capitalize on your misfortune.... In fact, in light of our past transactions, I'd sell it to you much cheaper.

I tend to find that firearms and avoiding all possible conflict is more civil but that's just me.

I don't leave stuff I'll miss outside. Easy fix to the avoiding confrontation part of my philosophy. I have nothing of value out doors and still have no less than 4 cameras watching it. :D

Travis! I forgot to do the seatbelt chime disable for you when we were talking about it. Here's the procedure you can do if you want. It's pretty easy:

    1) Turn the Car 'ON', but do not start the engine (Leave your foot off the brake). Cycle your trip reset knob until it reads ODO. Turn the ignition back off. Wait a couple of seconds.
    2) Make sure seat belt is not fastened
    3) Turn the ignition back on, do not start the car (Leave you foot off the break) As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset knob and do a long 12 second count.
    4) Keep your finger on the trip reset knob. Fasten your seat belt, as soon as you fasten your seat belt, you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off the trip reset knob and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". You should be all set and turn the ignition off and unfasten your seat belt.

    baseball bat and talking

    or

just talking with your pistol concealed just in case

im assuming bob doesnt have his CCW yet so thats not an option

I've lived here nearly 8yrs and haven't had to confront anyone about dogs pooping in the yard. If someone's dog pooped in the yard I'd simply clean it up, and have. Not really something worth confronting anyone over unless it's becomes habit and if that's the case I'll talk to them in a manner where I wouldn't expect to need a bat or a firearm. Some things simply aren't worth stressing over my man. Too many people don't realize this. Also, most criminals are opportunists so don't give them opportunity by taking necessary precautions and you likely won't have to deal with confrontation.

i wouldnt confront someone for leaving poop on my yard either, was just curious as to your approach to bobs situation because of the comment about bringing a bat to a gun right. I would

    A. consider the material scraped already
    B. not even bother confronting them because thay will just deny it
    C. learn lesson and not leave anything out ever again

you have met me, im not a very intimidating guy anyways so confronting anyone isnt really my thing, was just curious

if i don't get my shit back i'd at least want to get in their heads to leave our neighborhood alone or i'll meet them every morning with my bat and gun and i'll be reporting them to the authorities.
