anyone have any recommendations on a vacuum packer where the bags are a decent price n such

 

we use the food saver. I never thought it was out rageous for price.

yep, you can get bags almost anywhere. Costco and Sam's Club have the bags for about $40.

 

Are you looking for a commercial brand type or just simple home use for storing meats for a couple of months?

 

just for personal use
mainly to store food in a cooler when camping and such and for some frezzer food

 

This is what I have used for years now for my home freezer meats and it works really well for a smaller unit. I have stored meats for up to 1 year and it worked just fine! Probably not as good as those larger commercial units but if its just for camping and things like that it will work perfect for those applications.

We're still here, just...well, busy right now. Plus, the cookin' I've been doing is after 11 hours of working/commuting and in a rush, so its either been no pics, or stuff I've already posted.

Really, I only have time to COOK on the weekends now. During the week I just 'feed everyone'. Goddamn work.

From St. Patrick's Day... locally raised filet (medium rare), roasted asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, with a whiskey on the rocks... the perfect meal IMHO

 

I definitely will. Probably all 300-some pages worth! Tacoma's and food... I feel like I've found my home

 

To go with the trucks and food, you'll also find lots of us in 'ere quite enjoy our beverages of adult nature as well, so...since they so often go well together...

Thanks pkjr and Xaks, I have a feeling we have alot in common. Food, trucks, camping, adult bevs... hell, i even have a sister in FL and best friend in AZ!

 

Well, here's what I just put up on FB:

Its in the summer collection cases, if you're of a mind. Fantastic!"



Yesterday was a blueberry lager. Luvs me some craft beers, I do.
