    Don't believe that crap

my pup turned 6 months today, I actually did a lot of reading on the subject. I got my dog one day shy of 7 weeks and she is absolutely amazing. from what i read a dog taken away from its litter too early will become dependent on people too much make it prone to socialization issues and also separation anxiety. on the other hand, leaving it with its litter too long will do the opposite, the dog will not make a tight bond with humans and have more of a dog first relationship. from my understanding 7-9 weeks is ideal.

ask your friend where he got his info, he'll prob just make something up

These are my two. Only picture I have with the two of them in the same shot. In the back is Raleigh (Border Collie) and in front is Bailey (some type of hound/lab mix/mutt).

Had a fun weekend with my rotti pup, we went to a concert and he was amazing for only being 1yr old. Funny the reaction people had to him. Either terrified or inlove and couldnt leave him alone. This was his first really big event and he handled it like a champ!

We laid out in the grass for a few hours and people and other dogs came up to us left and right! He used to be a little shy (due to a few bad experience with idiots) so this was a big hurdle for him. He did great :)

He realized people just wanna love him :) and that if he rolled over he got lots of pets

and have to post this of him and my other girl (a resucue, who came from an abusive home but is doing amazing now!), he's all tuckered out from the eventful day and cant seem to hold his tongue in haha

Haha yep, if I ever have to run into the store and grab something and he is with me I will just leave him in the truck with it running. If someone is brave enough to try and get in the truck with an 80lb shephed in the passenger seat than more power to them haha.

Thats the way I look at it haha definitely would not be their lucky day. I had someone try to break into my shop a couple weeks ago (after stealing some stuff a couple nights before) and they didnt know I was home and in the barn. Needless to say Haus did his job and they probably thought they were going to die. He saw them before I did and chased them all the way to their car, never seen someone run so fast :) He jumped on their car door as it was closing and slammed it on them, I couldn't help but laugh a little all while also freaking out

Here's my girl Freya checking out the new truck.

    photo.jpg

I've not had her out in the truck too much because I want to get some seat covers over the mesh. Every used Tacoma I looked at had the mesh on the seats snagged and messed up so I'm being careful for now. Hopefully we can get a WO group buy in the next month or so. She keeps begging for more truck rides!!! :D

The shelter said they expect him to be around 30-40 pounds full grown. I haven't seen any other pictures, but our yorkie needs a buddy and after seeing that face, I couldn't say no.

More pictures once he is in our home.....

That's how I ended up with my rescue went to "look" at dogs and get an idea of what we wanted and ended up bringing her home! Best decision ever
