Wait... So I am dumb and lazy and should blame myself because a thief stole from me? That's ass backwards. Maybe the lazy and dumb thief and/or junk collectors should have gotten an education and a real job? The principal of this is simply this - My shit it belongs to me. Where I chose to put it is up to me. It does not belong to you so leave it the FUCK alone.

    Couldn't agree more there.

On a side note. Eric what made you go with the extended length shackles from Defined rather than the stock length?

Wrong! Bitch-ass punk should not be near your car attempting to open the door. Then side Bitch -ass should not be in your car because it does not belong to them. Our society has it wrong. The victim gets FUCKED and the criminal gets off with some lame community service because it is their first offense.

After a bit I noticed everything settled nicely. But then I added the rack on the bed and wanted a bit of forward rake again. So I got extended.

Second off, here's my hummingbird video. One almost took me out right in the beginning. Then you can hear two of them collide. It was a lot louder in person which is why I was worried lol.

Yup. It's been a while since I've run it (and I think I've only done it twice) but I know Travis and a few others ran it recently. I want to run that again at some point.

2 years ago when i still lived in california they got an amp, subwoofer, and gps out of my rig ... only reason the deck wasnt gone too was because they couldnt get it out for some reason .... but they managed to ruin the pre-outs and so i had to get a new one of those too when i kept getting feedback through the new subwoofer i got after that.

And then theres the time when i had an acura and the guys broke the window and managed to steal the deck WITH THE ALARM GOING OFF .... i had a pager alarm on it so i woke up to the remote going off and by the time i made it outside they were two blocks away. Its disgusting to me that this is how people "make their living" aka "pawn your shit and buy drugs"

If I ever leave my truck out for a while or in a sketchy area I always take off my faceplate and throw a jacket over my CB. Now that I have the sub I'll do the same with that.

I was always a bit worried about that stuff when I worked at the Denver Stock Show. It's not the safest area. I'd get there in the dark and leave in the dark in the giant parking lots. I was mad I didn't have my CCW at the time but I always tried my best to keep and eye out and hide my stuff.

coats generally work but if its unlocked theyll find it anyway, the gps they got from me was in the glovebox, not on the windshield.

I don't leave anything of value inside, in plane view. if its a shady area, I even remove the cell charger and lock it up.

Some thieves target specific stuff. When my truck was broken into they didn't take my CB, ipod, fm transmitter, or anything. They just took all my tools

They also take ur reg and damage door openers...so when (if) u discover ur veh was trespassed you may not notice the garage door opener and insurance missing...all while they wait for you to leave.

I knew a girl who had her car stolen once and they recovered it and found probably about 50 garage door openers in it.

Joke would have been on them......all my address stuff is for tucson, and I have no garage here :p

But I've also heard of cars getting stolen from a parking lot or while you're out and about, and then they look at your insurance for your address and then drive to your house, pull in the garage, and rob you blind

....time to start thinking of anti theft measures for that scenario
