Thanks fellas... Anyone else have any input on tire sizes with an 18" rim? Do you rub? If so how much trimming did you have to do? Still have stock uca's?

As long as you stick with an overall height of 33" you will be ok. Since a db kit you aren't required to change out the uca's. Backspacing on the wheels is what you need to pay attention to.

    Great looking trucks guy's!

Just a few questions before I pull the trigger.

I ordered the 3" OME kit with dakar leaf pack and Light racing UCA's yesterday and realized, I would have much rather of gone RCD now. My mistake.
So I will sell some of the components when I get them.

1.) Do you guy's run the stock UCA's on your RCD kits? Should I sell the Light Racing UCA's if they are not truly needed?

2.) Should I keep the Dakar leaf pack and add a 1" block, or 1.5" block to the RCD kit?

3.) Are all RCD kit's the same, or do some come with additional parts or "stages" that I should be aware of? I see different pics online from different vendor sites, hence my question.

4.) Where did you buy your RCD kit and how much is the going rate for them nowadays? I'm in Canada, so ordering locally would be nice but not necessary.

    Thanks!

Wheelers offroad seems to have about the best price on the kit
On any db lift kit you don't need to get new ucas but if you want to install that's your choice. Of course replacing the new leaf pack will be better than running the 4" block that comes with the kit. I replaced the leaf pack when I installed my lift and well worth the money. On the rcd I believe there is only 1 kit available.

THIS^^ I was quoted $2800 for the kit ALONE up here by an offroad store. I ordered from wheelers and brought across an had it installed up here. Well worth the extra effort!!

Also I can't find any install instructions online.. Does anyone have a link or tips?

Hmm. I thought the leaf packs would take them away too. Im still planning on getting some later, just wont count on the shutter to go away. You think a one piece drive shaft would take away the shutter?
