Hey guys! So here's a basic summary of the rear bumpers we offer for the 05+ Tacomas.

First is a Direct Bolt on Replacement Bumper. In designing this bumper we tried to follow the factory lines on the bedside while providing maximum protection to the rear of the truck. NO modifications are required to the truck to use this bumper.

All base bumpers come with a recessed license plate mounting surface with a light for the plate. This light will have to be spliced into the factory wiring for the license plate which requires two small crimp connectors. Production models that come with the optional integrated hitch will include a tab for mounting the factory 7-pin trailer harness next to the hitch behind the license plate, as well as a hinged license plate bracket which will flip up to reveal the hitch. The bumper is constructed of 3/16ths steel, models with the integrated hitch use 1/4" mounting brackets. All Armor Tech Offroad products come painted in a Satin Black finish. We choose to use paint in an effort to make it easier for the customer to retain a "new" looking finish throughout the life of the bumper. Prices are as follows:

Base bumper - $590 (includes recessed license plate mount and LED license plate light)
    Bottom Mount Hitch - $125
    Shackle Mounts - $40
    Hi Lift Notches - $40
Rear Light Cutouts with Lights - $55
Shipping - call for shipping quote
NOTE: This item ships via Freight, a business address will be required for delivery or you may pick it up at your local distribution terminal. If you wish to have it shipped to your residence there may be an additional charge for this fee. This is a fee that I am charged by the freight companies for such deliveries.

Second is High Clearance Wrap Around version which was designed to maximize departure angles, ground clearance, and provide vital side protection for the avid offroaders. This bumper DOES require modification to the bedsides of the truck!

This bumper is constructed out of 3/16ths material with 1/4" used on the mounting brackets. The factory tow hitch is NOT compatible with this bumper. All Armor Tech Offroad products come painted in a Satin Black finish. We choose to use paint in an effort to make it easier for the customer to retain a "new" looking finish throughout the life of the bumper. Prices are as follows:

    Base Bumper - $810
    Integrated Hitch - $55
    Shackle Mounts - $40
    Hi Lift Notches - $40
Rear Light Cutouts with Lights - $55
Shipping - call for a shipping quote

We also offer a rear Shackle Flip Kit for those who wish to maximize suspension travel on their Tacoma. One of the main benefits tot his kit is moving the vulnerable spring hanger up and out of harms way. Our kit has shown increases in axle droop over stock while not adversely affecting ride quality. It does however provide approximately 1/2" of lift to the rear of the vehicle, due to the design on the frames and location of the springs this is unavoidable. To maximize suspension travel we do recommend longer shocks for the rear, however we recommend that you wait until the kit is installed and measure for an exact fit to your application. This kit is designed to re-use the stock shackle.

In the last picture you can see the difference in clearance from stock to our kit. Each kit comes with install instructions and all needed hardware. All Armor Tech Offroad products come painted in a Satin Black finish. We choose to use paint in an effort to make it easier for the customer to retain a "new" looking finish throughout the life of the bumper. Prices are as follows:

Shackle Flip is currently undergoing a redesign, at the moment there is no set ETA on the re release!

We created this item to help those purchasing our High Clearance Wrap Around bumper find a place to locate their license plate. It comes prewired with a small LED light to keep things legal with a small plug so it can be disconnected to tow. The mount does hang down some below our bumper but this is required to keep enough clearance for the tailgate to open.

License Plate Mount with Light for 2" Hitch - $60
    Shipping - $10
If bought with a Wrap Around Bumper - $50 (will ship with bumper)

    HD Front Skid Plate

No modifications are require to use this skid, simply bolt it on and beat it up! This is the largest, beefiest skid you will find for the Tacomas! Skid is constructed of 1/4" plate, CNC cut and CNC bent.

    100_0537_f7164d43adc0cb2bae8dc0b995b8c76037f7a564.jpg

    weight - 70 lbs.
    $309 plus shipping

We can also do a light duty version of this skid which is made from 3/16" plate versus the 1/4" used on the HD version. This skid won't take quite the beating the HD version will however it is still tough and will save a few pounds.

    $289 plus shipping

    Transfer Case Skid

This skid requires rerouting the low hanging exhaust crossover pipe to behind the transfer case instead of below it. This allows us to tuck the skid up tight to maximize ground clearance at a crucial location under the truck. Skid is constructed from 3/16" plate, CNC cut and CNC bent.
(appx. costs at different local muffler shops for new crossover pipe range from $85 and up so check around)

    weight - 50 lbs.
    $339 plus shipping

    Transmission Skid

This skid requires no modifications to the truck to use, however it does require having the front and transfer case skid. This skid utilizes the transfer case skid and the front skid as mounting locations so it CANNOT be used without the other skids. Skid is constructed of 3/16" plate, CNC cut and CNC bent.

    Gas Tank Skid
Both ACLB - DCSB and a version for DCLB

These skids are constructed from 3/16" steel. As with all our skids they are CNC cut and CNC bent. If you have a TRD Offroad model this is a simple bolt on install, however SR5 and TRD Sport models require either changing the gas tank straps to one for a TRD Offroad or welding in studs for the skid to mount to.

    Pics to follow....

    weight - 38 lbs.
    $219 plus shipping

    All skids ship bare steel!

    Hi-Lift bed mounts for the 05+ Tacoma's.

These mounts are the best and simplest solution to mounting your Hi-Lift in the bed of your Tacoma. They require NO modifications, NO holes drilled, just a simple bolt on installation. The only tools required are a 9/16" wrench or socket. They hold your jack securely to the side of the bed utilizing the factory track system. They can be adjusted towards the front or rear of the bed, whichever suits you better.

$75.85 shipped anywhere within the US!

    Ship bare steel.

Antenna / Bed Light Mounts for 05+ Tacomas.

These little mounts will work great for installing CB antennas, Bed lights, or whatever else you need to mount in the bed. They attach via the track system, include all hardware needed, and feature a 1/2" hole to accommodate most antenna mounts as well as a 1/4" grounding stud.

$20.35 shipped anywhere in the US!

hmm, I was just looking for a shackle flip the other day..
I have a deaver 10 leaf pack , would this work with them? and do you have longer shackles to maybe put 1"-2" more lift?
and how does it handle? much axle wrap?
    thanx

the shackle flip will work with the deaver springs. there are no noticeable changes in the handing of the truck versus stock. as it is right now the kit provides appx. 1/2" of lift, if you desire more lift i can build it into the hanger, however at the moment i don't offer any replacement shackles. one customer did order and use a set of jeep extended shackles for some extra lift and he said they worked just fine.

heres a quick shot on the current bumper i'm working on. its a bolt on replacement for a member here but this time we opted to put the hitch directly under the license plate. the bumper is still under construction at this time, thus the reason its primered and dosn't have corners yet.
