I'm gonna go with the Coopers the next time. They are extremely recommended from a bunch of my friends that run them!

Hankook Dynapro ATMs. They have done very well but I want something more aggressive

Thanks :) I really wanna do the BHLM but I'm a little nervous to attempt it. have a feeling with my luck I'd mess up somehow. So I'm waiting until I can find someone to help me.

I need to do something with the rear bumper too, cant afford an after market one yet so probably going to paint it or bed liner it for now until I can. Even thought about plasti-dipping it but I'm not sure how it would hold up.

Getting 30 mpg on the highway
I have nitto terra grapplers on my truck and really like them. A bunch of the guys up here swear by their dura-tracs though. I might try them next since they are supposed to be good in snow and thats a huge factor for me. However, I would reccomend the nittos to anyone. Even with the tread getting pretty worn, they get me around on the road, in snow, on the dirt, and in the mud. They are getting a little loud at highway speeds though.

My .02 on the lift... just started replacing my spacer lift with Fox mid-travel. I have the rear done and it rides awesome. The front is still stock with spacers and the difference is night and day. I was just going to do a billi or OME lift to replace the spacers.... and then I decided to go big. If you wanna drop the money, i'd look into Icon/fox/king too :)

    Truck is lookin good!

derp holds up decent, but it's really easy to touch up. I used it on my front bumper because it wasn't permanent and if i didn't like it I could get rid of it. That was 3-4 months ago or more and I haven't even had to touch it up. Even had my TRD skid plate dipped (same reason) and I only had to touch up when I used it liberally offorading, lol. It's good stuff for checking out looks. It's a little weird to use the first time, but if you are positive you want to change something permanent, the bedliner is more durable.

Thanks! I love hearing different opinions, gives me more to look into and research. I havent looked at grapplers but I will add that to the list of tired to look at. Hoping to buy some in the beginning of September or end of this month. Right now I'm running treadwrite tires and they are good traction wise. the noise is ridiculous though, sounds like a jet plane inside and outside the cab. Its become quite the joke around here but they were free so I have gotten some good use out of them. Extremely soft tires but that was to be expected.

I used it on my grill surround and like the way that it turned out, which made me think doing the bumper would be a good idea. I just wasn't sure how it would hold up. I like the less permanent idea of it though. you make a good point about the easy touch up too, I have the derp to do it so might as well!

I also have the Nitto terra grapplers. I'm a fan. not the greatest in Alaska snow IMO, but AK snow is different for some reason. It's magically slippery. Different than CO or MI. It's a good all around tire, and really not loud at all, but looks decently agressive.

I don't get too much snow where I'm at mainly just slush and ice. But I will go out of my way to go play in snow anytime I can! I would love to get rid of the jet plane tires. I don't mind a little noise but the ones I have are terrible. thanks for the info!

Welp got the front windows tinted! and got my flares on with a little personal PINK touch :) haha bought some pink powder coating.. I need more ideas on small things to powder coat lol Already found some pink lug nuts hehe

looks like the bumper is still sicking out too far, the flares didn't cover as much as I hoped they would. So we are going to cut the bumper to flush it up. hopefully next weekend. I desperately need new tires

Debating on selling my stock flares or keeping them as a "just in case" even though I don't plan on trying to sell my truck.. ever.. hmm what to do? I wouldn't even know how to price them. One rear one has some scratched and the other rear one broke a tab while taking them off. Suggestions??? :)

Haha, what's wrong with jet plane tires? You want to actually be able to hear your passengers/music at speed? :p

Mine are pretty loud at this point but have a lot of miles on them. I have put 20k on em and they were worn when i got the truck.

Haha I don't even have to look at the speedometer half the time, the howling tires tell me how fast I'm going! I got lil less 20k than on my tires

Got a ticket yesterday for no front plate :pout:

Funny thing the cop gave me the ticket then sat there and talked to me about my truck and we had quite a long conversation.. after about 20 min of talking and BS'n he told me to just fight the ticket and say he was crazy and I really did have a front plate and they will drop it :D so gonna give it a go.. crossing fingers!

Haha. I never got tickets until I got my Tacoma.... apparently it gets attention. For some reason the cops always seem surprised when they walk up and i'm not a dude...
