NORCAL: Camping & Wheeling - Deer Valley - 8/23-8/25

Sorry if I missed it, but have you guys decided if everyone is wheeling on Saturday or Sunday? I'll probably head out there just for a day of wheeling and head back. I want to do a final wheeling session with my 1st gen before I put it for sale. Plus I just saw Jerry's truck and I NEED to see it in action.

Yup, I'm 90% committed. The wheels will get more trail creds if they're banged up anyways, lol.

 

I'm a for sure out. I will probably be going to Pismo for the Jamboree in September though, whoever is going down.

 

can't wait! I need to get some dam trimming done asap!

 

That reminds me i've got a lot of work to do on mine.

 

may need to stop by, lol grinder and sledge hammer need to get to work.

All is set for me to make this trip, just gotta do some cheap mods like finish installing my cb and install my rear breather hose. Maybe I'll finally make it to something!


Oh and buy new tires, that will probably happen a couple days before, think I'll have to do more trimming since my springs are settling.

 

Which CB did you end up getting?

 

I've had the same Uniden 520 for probably 15 years now Just yanked it out of my old truck ready to go in the new.

 

Who is bringing their wife/girl friend? I'm trying to talk the wife into coming but she don't want to be the only chick.

 

I tried getting my Fiance to come, but I got a big hell no. I just love how adventurous she is...

My roomate is coming, she loves camping and wheeling.... so your wife wont be the only girl there, don't worry.

 

Oh yeah hes coming if she does she still cant spend a night without him.

Lol I'm in the same boat. My wife won't go unless there is another woman going preferably with a kid. She doesn't like offroading so she'll be at camp the whole time.


Is there any where for my son to ride his dirt bike around there? Around camp maybe?

 

Yeah there is plenty of room to ride his little bike around the camp site. He just can't go on the trail. And my wife and son will be wheeling so your girl might be alone at camp wile we are wheeling.

 

My wife and kid are going.

But if I go wheel, she will prob want to come. Haahaahaa
