Yes by my plans everything is correct, but whether or. To my plans are correct is another question. I basically get an updated plan every couple of days

 

Yes there is an architect. I think he's getting tired of me already because I call him almost every other day and ask him what he wanted. Draws things in but never puts dimensions, header sizes, beam locations, point loads (sky hook)

My boss laid out a foundation wrong the second job I was on lol. Addition to the house was supposed to be 11'-10 1/2", his plans had a hole punch through the dimensions and he thought it was 11'-0 1/2". Ended up costing him a kitchen

 

Sounds like the job has started prior to the plans being established

This is par for the course with them.

When I was framing the exterior walls, I was using the window schedule from the window company for RSO sizes, but one feature window was only 25" RO but on the drawings it showed it as a 56" wide window.

Called the manager and he said I screwed up and wasn't reading the schedule right so he stopped by the site. I highlighted the size and showed him the paperwork. His response was "oh well, guess you were right"

 

Did I tell you about the handicap ramp I built and tore down three times for them at their sales centre?

Those are the types of jobs where you just wanna stick a lintel in from corner to corner of the wall to make the inevitable window size changes easy later
