Extremely loud suspension...HELP!

Gents,
My suspension is getting louder and louder by the day and it's getting to the point where I can't stand it and while I am offshore at work, my wife drives it and I drive her car to the heliport. So she is stuck with it and the noise, for two weeks and it's driving her up the walls. Is it the UCA's? I have no clue but it is really REALLY loud. Even when stearing straight. What can I do to fix it? What can I use to fix it. I have to do something. It's pretty embarassing that such an expenssive lift is so loud. Please, save me the, "it's a lifted truck so it's gonna be loud" or, "it's midtravel so it's gonna be loud" speech. I know every mid travel or every lifted taco doesn't make this kind of sound. I know it's coming from the front. When it's wet, it doesn't make a sound. It's to the point where I'm considering getting a drop bracket and selling off my mid travel kit. If it's the UCA's, would the camburg grease stop it? Thanks in advance!

Camburg uniball UCA's.
Swaybar has NOT been removed.

 

You say it's noisy but can you describe it. Clinking, clanking, banging, squeaking, creaking? All the time or turning or going over bumps? Be more specific.

 

Yep...they were. I know that it's gonna have some noise but it's pretty excessive.

 

Squeaking and creaking. It's all the time. Turning and going straight, over bumps. Pretty much anytime the truck moves, it makes a ton of noise. Such a nice truck and it sounds like it's falling apart. It's turning heads for the wrong reason, lol.

loosen the UCA bolt, regrease the UCA zerks,
clean off the uniball, get some teflon grease and drip/spray it onto the uniball

if that doesnt work, it's not the UCA

could be a bad shock seal, otherwise..

 

Thanks Cody! I bought new bushings and grease from camburg and I'm gonna take care of that when I get home and hope it fixes the problem. I've tried the teflon spray on the uniball but it doesn't seem to do anything to stop the noise so I'm guessing thats not it.

 

after I installed my UCA I had a lot of squeaking coming from my passy side, found out yesterday that one of the zerks wasn't accepting any grease...which means that in my install stupor I hadn't greased that bushing

replaced the zerk, greased it up; drove great today (my first re-greasing was yesterday.)


also check that your UCA bolt/nut is tight
