Mine are progressive, 2012 sport (Code PY and EJ) with the 18" optional rim upgrade. Maybe that package also upgraded the springs to progressive..

personal preference to the off road only because the sport rims look funny to me and the e locker is nice to have. are the trd seats the same in the Xrunners as well? i love my sr5 seats. felt better than my buddy's 06 xrunner seat

According to the Toyota website, these are the differences between the SR5 and Sport

Remote keyless entry system, cruise control, variable intermittent windshield wipers, chrome grille surround and rear bumper, color-keyed front bumper and overfenders, sliding rear window with privacy glass, bucket seats, SR5 fabric trim, metallic-toned instrument panel trim, leather-trimmed steering wheel with audio controls and shifter, dual sun visors with mirrors and extenders, tailgate-handle integrated backup camera 30 linked to an auto-dimming mirror with monitor and outside temperature gauge, SR5 badge.

Sport suspension with Bilstein® shocks, 17-in. alloy wheels with P265/65R17 tires, hood scoop, color-keyed grille surround/bumpers/door handles/overfenders, color-keyed outside mirrors with turn signal indicators, sliding rear window with privacy glass, 115V/400W deck powerpoint, fog lights, remote keyless entry, cruise control, variable-speed wipers, overhead console with compass and temperature gauge, Sport water-resistant seats with driver lumbar support, Sport fabric trim in place of standard bucket seats (passenger-side fold-flat feature delete), metallic-toned instrument panel trim, leather-trimmed shifter, dual sun visors with mirrors and extenders, backup camera 30 linked with auto-dimming mirror with monitor

Also I have not seen any TRD without a Tow Package so it also includes below but available as an option for SR5.

Class-IV towing receiver hitch, transmission and supplemental oil coolers, 130-amp alternator, heavy duty battery, 7-pin connector with converter, Trailer-Sway Control (TSC)

You get all the TRD suspension in an sr5 with the leaf spring tsb.

After 2008, the sport AND the sr5 use an electronic simulation of a limited slip rear end. 2005 to 2008 was mechanical in the sport only, and actually worked

So yeah.. You pay anywhere from 5 to 10k more for a sport over an sr5 for 17" wheels, color matched plastic, a scoop, and a bed outlet.

Chocolate and sixteen candles usually works better for me, accompanied of course with a nice long cry session!
