so, you equate human conception and sexual morality with truck choice.

btw, glad to see you agree that homosexuality is a choice.

and don't be sour grapes because your socialist utopia limits your freedoms...liberties...and choices. :D

Unbelievable that one could turn an Offroad vs Sport discussion into a sexual choice discussion. Grow up.

...and now for something completely different. /insert British accent

OP, I think there are a lot of variables that come in to play. In my mind the biggest is that of cab specs, that is, access vs double as you can't change that or mod it down the line.

Then you might want to consider how much time and money you want to spend modding your truck. A lot of people love tinkering and gearing-heading out. Are you one of those people? For me there has been something nice about getting the vehicle I wanted straight off the lot. No plans for a lift, bigger tires, or any other major tweak. Just doing some minor adjustments here and there which don't eat up family/friend time or my wallet.

Try to weigh in on as many of these variables as possible and then make an informed decision.

    Good luck

I want or need nothing from you. The Lord provides for my needs.

I'm a blessed man, I believe you are as well...you just may or may not recognize it.

I'd be more concerned about the back bacon thing than the White House. I bet they've got fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems and such in that place by now.

If I were in Canada, my medical bills would be about half what they are here. Freedom, liberties, and choices are limited everywhere. You just don't see that if you agree with the limitations.

Hey OP, if you're modding the shit out of it go Sport. If you're just going to go lift and tires go Offroad. These things are damn capable right off the show room floor.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Attention to detail: OZ-T may have been vulgar in word choice, but did not call you any names. I however, have much less character than our friend from the north.

Take your douchebaggery elsewhere. Folks do not appreciate a perfectly good thread on truck purchasing options being muddied up with political or religious pontification. I can only assume you practice zoophilia in your spare time.

Some people want the world and then some.

The TRD packages have towing features, Class-IV towing receiver hitch, transmission and supplemental oil coolers, 130-amp alternator, heavy duty battery, 7-pin connector with converter, Trailer-Sway Control. Just the oil coolers alone make the TRD packages worth the extra coin because your transmission will last longer.

The TRD Off Road has some off road features that the TRD Sport doesn't have, plus the TRD Sport has straight rate springs, instead of the progressive rate springs on the TRD Off-Road. Many have argued that the straight rate springs of the Sport are actually better anyways.

The TRD packages do not (to my knowledge) include all those towing features. They are a separate towing package, although typically combined with the TRD package.

of the 5 available packages for DC's (standard, SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Sport + Leather, Limited) on toyota.ca the standard package is the only one that does not have the "towing package" (trailer sway control, upgraded alternator, engine oil cooler, class IV hitch).
