Well, needed a bigger truck for towing a 5th wheel. So went ahead and traded the Tacoma in at Cherry Creek Dodge in Denver. Picked up a Dodge 3500 Cummins 6.7L diesel 4x4 crew cab. Will miss the little Taco, but it just didnt fit the life plans right now.

Gonna be doing just the opposite. We're downsizing, going from a 4 bedroom house on 5 acres to a 2 bedroom condo.

Selling my 04 Ram 2500 4x4 with the ctd and probably getting a Tacoma dcsb TRD.

The Ram is a great truck. 10 years, 165,000 miles and still runs like a champ gets 21mpg.

I'm gonna miss that truck. :(

    The better coast
^ If you're getting 21mpg in your dodge I'd keep it. A tacoma wont get much better if any better :p

Congrats op, hope you like it.

    Too few to list.
Should have sold your parts before trading it in.

My father in law has a 05 one ton, 295,000 before the tranny went and over 300,000 now. Just added air bags and 5100's all the way around. Running 315 bfg ko's and put a flat bed on it. He loves it. Only problem was the fuel pump kept burning up in it so he added somekind of external hi flowe performance pump, but he also has tuner on it.

The 3500's get crap for fuel mileage because the 4.10 gears take the motor just out of the sweet spot, 2500's have 3.73's and dough better fuel wise.

the newest models have many more gear options, all the way down to 3.42 gears, and the new 68rfe/AISIN's are double OD, they let these motors turn right in the torque band at cruising speed

is this the new super HO version w/ 850ft. lb. or just regular HO w/ 800?

He's using it to pull a 5th wheel. I think he needs the 3500 for payload.

Ya, it has 3.73's in it. I am getting 18mpg right now with the engine not broke in. I have been told it will slowly creep into the 20s once the engine brakes in.
