Oh, I see. Well thanks for the concern but things are great. My mom is feeling better and things are fantastic being Ostrichsak. A couple of set-backs with the dog but those are nearly offset by a couple of baby steps forward. If I've been short or rude I apologize but you should all just expect that from me by now. I don't take the time to sugar coat shit.

Don't be harsh on yourself... 3/10 isn't bad at all. It shows good effort and some thought associated as well. I'm just not one to get overly worked up over things even though I type a lot sometimes. :D

Day 10 since breaking the juice fast check-in:

    Starting Weight: 290.8
    Current Weight: 266.6
    Previous Weight: 267.6
    Lost since yesterday: 1.0
    Total Weight lost: 24.2
    Most Weight lost: 24.2
    Lowest Weight: 266.6
    Lost since fast: 0.8

Today is a good day for me for the simple fact that you'll notice that my Total Wight Lost & Most Weight Lost columns have the same number. My Lowest weight is also me weight today. This is good because it means I'm officially at my lowest weight since I started the juice fast. Yesterday I was only 0.2 above my lowest weight so losing that full pound put me well past my previous low mark. It also means I was able to change the 'Gained since fast' column to 'lost since fast' which is a good feeling. It feels good to be able to eat food now and do so in a manner that I'm still losing weight. Here's to hoping that I get to 25lbs lost by tomorrow & maybe I can crack into the 250's by next weekend! Nice round numbers that are just around the corner.

Just wanted reply even thought i lost where it was in the thread. My camera system backs up to a tb hd and then across the internet to a server. Everything is on battery backup, even the router and modem so power outage wont take me offline. I agree with some of what O said about cameras. I got a samsung that I can read the time off your wrist watch while you walk by in the street. Basically don't go cheap you will regret it. Make sure the cameras will record in a good high def format. I don't like the ip cameras though. My brother in law who does IT engineering advised against them because they are much easier to disrupt than hardwired and I had to run a power line anyways. I went with a system with lots of cameras instead of movable ones cause I paranoid about reliability. No moving parts = great reliability. I am thinking about adding one on top of my roof though that could survey the neighborhood.

Local storage with cloud back-up is ideal. Don't overlook the common criminal's ability to take PC's and DVR looking devices these days because they or someone they know have been caught thanks to security camera video. You can have 72 cameras with a dedicated DVR for recording or a dedicated server for video capture and if they take it when they break in it really doesn't matter.

How is the IP cam 'easy to disrupt'?

I've had IP pan & tilt cameras for many years now and never had one fail. I don't set them to scan areas though so could be the reason. The ability to adjust what the camera sees from anywhere anytime is invaluable though. You don't always need to adjust but when you do you'll be glad you can.

I have many PTZ cameras at work and rarely does one fail. In the past 5 years I've replaced two...granted, they are used a lot compared to a residential cam

I would go IP if budget constraints were not an issue.

If it's a hole all the way through your windshield it's not a pellet gun.

yeah, figure of speech i suppose. didn't go all the way through the windshield or door so probably a pellet gun. ..... shattered one back window, spider-webbed the windshield and put a nice dent in my passenger door:mad:

I put my trash out once a week, and someone comes and takes it. Should I get a camera?
