They did. And, ya, strange. Though don't VW's also use a 5cyl, or did on recent Jetta models? That was half of a lambo block though since VAG owns them IIRC.

Chevy, VW, Audi, Acura, and Volvo have all used 5 cylinders. Volvo has used them for at least 30 years

Install error? Did you use female connectors on the switch?

I guess you could call it install error . I tapped into the solenoid wires . But now they are cut, soldered and wrapped . So it shouldn't be a issue .

Rode the bike today. The charged battery worked wonders!

Put 6 miles on it just going up and down my moms street.

All was well and good for exactly an hour.... Then the battery was drained and it called quits.

Why the fuck won't it charge? Ugh. Is it because the battery was dead for a long time? Or is it my charging system itself? I wanna try a new battery, but not if it keeps getting depleted

Get a stator for it. But before you do that get the bike running and measure the volts at the battery.

Found a thread. Is a stator the same as the voltage regulator?

Someone posted that replacing the voltage regulator fixed his issue

None yet but soon all black.
Charging system it is. I'm having the same problem on my atv. The battery doesn't charge so it keeps draining . So I can charge the battery use it one day, and 1 week later it's dead again. I always have to pull start it. Sucks. My atv needed a voltage regular so it would stay charging. Still doesn't work all the way but w/e. shouldn't be that hard to fix

Like Dave said, get a multimeter and figure out how much voltage the charging system is putting out before blindly throwing parts at it. Could be charging system, could be the battery cant hold a charge, could be both.

Alex, see if you can get a Honda Shop manual for the bike. (it is a honda right?) You can get just about any factory repair manual (leaps and bounds better than the Haynes ones) on ebay in .pdf format on a CD for like 5-10 bucks. I have a factory shop manual for my outboard, snow blower, truck, 92 yota, and the Mrs. Grand Prix. They are indispensable.

They lay out the steps for trouble shooting any problem you could encounter and how to fix them.

They used a Saab engine. Mine went like the hinges of hell. Still wouldn't trade the taco for that pile of ass, but it did move a little better. Granted, it only had 235's, and was a reg cab 4x4...

John, if I got my sliders on would that be enough to comfortably be able to navigate All Wheels, or do you need to a lift to not rip out shit from under the truck?
