    Took my bug shield off today. It's been on the truck for the past 5 years so it looks totally naked without it. I'm going to leave it off a while and see if it grows on me. Definitely looks cleaner, but I do like how the black of the bug shield matches my color scheme. Time will tell. What do yall think?

    This one tool me a little longer than Travis's cause I changed it up a bit and have a 6lz mounted inside the small rectangular spot up near where the mirror would be. But probably about 4-6 hours/set if I stay focused and don't so other things.. I'm typically doing sliders at the same time while I'm ending everything

    I've always been a function over fashion kind of guy. I had a larger bug shield that always bothered me in terms of looks, but it protected the paint nicely. I took it off one day to spray paint, liked the naked look and decided I'll keep it off in summer and put it on in winter (when they gravel the roads).

    In the end, the dealer where I bought the bug shield from replaced it (under warranty) with a low profile one like yours. I like the look of it much better and will keep it on year round... to protect the leading hood edge of paint.

    Cliff Notes: I like yours better with it on. :eek:

    Especially since you have front and rear vent visors... ties it all in nicely IMO

    Yeah it's growing on me really quickly!

    I def understand the functionality factor but I could care a less about my paint. It may look nice in those pics but it's actually pretty bad overall. Mismatched, chipped, scratched, you name it haha.

    And god I couldn't imagine a bigger bug shield! :eek: Ha I thought mine was bulky enough.. (I had to think for 5 min on how to phrase that so you couldn't make a "comment" on it haha)

    I never even noticed. And the stock bumper didn't have anything covering that gap so I don't think it will be a big deal

    You're right. You can see how my satoshi comes down lower as compared to the stock one

    Your satoshi is flush with the front of the grill though so I could see how that would look better. Mine has a lip so it's set back into the grill. Honestly though i never would have noticed it unless you pointed it out haha

    Thanks man. I'm debating if i should make the ring thicker or just leave as is :notsure: probably just leave as is for now, don't want it to be overkill and look cheesy
