Will do! It's not completely derp, there were parts of the liner that were thin and I could see paint through it so I sprayed those parts. What's nice is that when it dries it seems to shrink a little and it actually matched itself to the texture. I experimented and made a huge puddle of derp on one chunk that was missing. Figured I'd need to peel it off around it to make it look good but it actually shrank THAT much to where it's flush.

Well guys, in less than 3 hours today I manged to paint all 4 of my wheels... About 2 hours and 55 minutes were spent prepping and masking but it was well worth it! Thank you all who answered my questions earlier this week, it made all the difference today (especially using the index cards!)

Anybody have an issue with mud sticking to the derp? Washed the truck the other day after derpin' and some muddin' and the dirt just clings to the derp. Suggestions?

I'm thinking of throwing some glossier on top, did you?

No I didn't use any gloss. Just a can a wheel. Did just enough on the back side too so the whole rim looks black because my spokes are open

I have the Dip all over my truck! The panels under the headlights are dipped, as is the stripe on the lip of my hood. Fuel door is dipped, too. Valance and grill WERE dipped, but I converted them to bed-liner as I knew I liked the look and wanted it permanent. Also sleeved the foglights.

Well this is the end result of my day. I tried three times to do the "Toyota" emblem and it didn't work out. Tried different drying times and what not, didn't work. With all the taking off with a toothpick the plastic was starting to scratch. I did this just to try. I am going to do the rest tomorrow if I can, it's started to rain. I'm not sure if I like it or not. These caps are a big pain in the ass to come off. I got this one off because one of the plastic pieces in the cap were broken.

    Hey guys,
anyone know how to take off plastidip overspray on our paint? I dipped my side emblems and I covered the surrounding area but I guess I underestimated the travel of the overspray. Now some areas look all grainy with plasti dip. I tried wiping it down with quick detailer but some spots still remain. Will a good washing do it? I might have to leave it on until the weekend because Im busy all week. Hope its not permanent. Thanks guys.

If you're referring to the Toyota emblem in the center of the grill, just pop the hood and look down at the backside of the grill. There should be 4 tabs that hold it in place. You will see what needs to happen, just push on em and it pops out really easily.
