...there's one key precursor to having an actual discussion... it has to be a two-way street... ;)

i've been answering your same question over and over, ...i've explained my position in an articulate manner in several posts...

what we are missing here is the other side of the discussion... don't you want to be heard?

Arctic sea ice melt is likely to be hampered. Below normal Arctic temperatures, while still above freezing, set the stage for a probable lessening of the severity of ice melt anticipated this summer. While we still expect to fall well below average sea ice levels, it is very possible that this season's sea ice extent will be unlike last year, where we hit a record low in sea ice, but more like sea ice levels roughly a decade ago.

Shifts in the jet stream, partly seasonal and partly caused by high-latitude weather systems, were responsible for the unusual spring chill, according to the NCDC. The jet stream pattern brought cold Arctic air to the Midwest and East.

The chilly season followed a string of warmer-than-normal springs, part of the natural variation expected as the climate warms, Arndt said. "We won't stop having colder-than-normal episodes even as the world continues to warm," Arndt told LiveScience.

...the alarmism, ...the notion that there is a cataclysmic change going on here?... do you subscribe to this notion?

I believe there is substantial evidence that there is a planet wide warming trend and change in climate that may be partly or entirely due to man made atmospheric pollution

    Yep.

Glacial retreat and polar ice cap reduction seem reasonably well documented, yes?

I like Rush and his style of commentary. I find it informative...sometimes newsworthy, and always entertaining.

few from the new age "global warming" camp understand the value the warm earth has offered...in the way of human expansion.
