General warming , although climate change can and does alter systems so that weather extremes can mean colder weather in some areas

yep, ...that's the whole "inconvenient truth" for their agenda, ...they seem to ignore what is likely the most persistent, powerful ,and influential factor in shaping this planet's climate, ...the sun ...

The straw that breaks the camels back could be any thousandth of a percent. Which specific one it is a guess.

Why not exercise a little caution?

Over the last 35 years the sun has shown a slight cooling trend. However global temperatures have been increasing. Since the sun and climate are going in opposite directions scientists conclude the sun cannot be the cause of recent global warming.

The only way to blame the sun for the current rise in temperatures is by cherry picking the data. This is done by showing only past periods when sun and climate move together and ignoring the last few decades when the two are moving in opposite direction.

    K , your turn

You said change in climate is " reasonable and rational " so why do you so adamantly deny that the climate is changing ?

...unfortunately that is how the game has been played, by "cherry picking" data/stories/etc, by any and all sides... for every article you put forth savoring your belief, i could counter w/ one savoring my belief, ...and vice-versa ad infinitum... ;)

    case in point:
    http://www.foxnews.com/science/2013...activity-may-play-significant-role-in-global/

...so, which is why is say, (the general public is not going to perform rigorous analysis of data on their own), it comes down to "who do you trust"...

like i said before, they started pushing "global warming", a crisis, ..then changed it to "climate change", a crisis, when they the lost the trust on global warming, ...same pig, different lipstick...

...people will tend to side w/ those they "trust" the most...

like i've said many times before, ...things are always changing, ...as has through ancient history (that we "know" of...), ...but i don't think that we are facing a cataclysmic "climate" event (i.e. "extreme weather", hot, cold, etc.) caused by C02 emissions...

The "hole in the Ozone" layer has been found to shrink and expand during the years. It has always been there.

    The better coast
Scientists are pretty much educated politicians.

The only thing they have in common is that they never agree and you can buy them off.

We never knew about it until we had the tech to discover it. Since its been observed getting larger, then smaller, etc., constantly changing, Scientists have not found any conclusive evidence that it was made by man, and are finding more that its part fo the engine that drives the environment.

Just platitudes and empty claims. Some claim big oil and big business is responsible for global warming (Aka climate change cause it is a cycle and not just warming) when really is the other side who perpetuates the hoax for money and power.
