Did a little hike to the kings creek fall. Thought it was going to be a bigger waterfall.

I Think Its Cause all You Can Do Is Drive Through On One Road And There Aren't Many Easy Hikes Like Yosemite. Which Is One Of The Reasons I Love It.

They Were Doing some Work On The Trail, Last Time We Were Lucky It Was Open, The time Before A Kid Got Killed And They Closed It For A While.

Moving and need to get rid of my old tires/stock alloys.

Would 100 bucks be a decent price to sell em asap?

The waterfall pics were taken at kings creek falls inside lassen nation park. Nearest city is shingletown on highway 44. The bigger waterfall i believe is burney state park.

Burney Falls SP will be empty in September/October-it could be very cold then as well.

Lassen effectively closes for the season in late September-the campgrounds start closing off whole sections before the snow starts. I think Manzanita is the only one that's open after mid September'ish and there are no services then either.

Same deal with temps. Nice during the day, cold at night.

    Hey all,

So here's the situation. I'm going to need to start looking for a temporary job that will last me from late September through February. I report to Ft. Benning, Georgia on March 1st for 7 months of training.

I'm currently an officer recruiter for the National Guard, but I'm on ADOS (Active Duty Operational Support). It's a temp job that I took as a recently commissioned Lieutenant. I will be looking for another job within the CA Guard, but if I can't I'm going to need a job to last me through February.

Anyone on here have any opinions or leads? job market is pretty tough it seems. I worked retail in HS/College but not looking to go back into it.

Long term I am pursuing law enforcement, so LEO's help me out if you can. I don't think I'll have the time to attend a full POST academy or any like matters. Which is why I'm stuck.

Okay, My random rant for the day is done. Thanks!

You're gonna be limited in the types of work available to you-you'll be gone in 5 months-not many people are going to want to invest the time and effort to train you only to see leave (and not come back). If you didn't say anything to get a better gig, that'd be kind of f'd up (my opinion).

Looks like some kind of retail or maybe working through a local temp agency will be your best bet.
