Yeah as if the California Air Resources Board wasn't invasive enough with us out here...they make Toyota put these stupid air pump/rails on the trucks.

Marc, thanks bud! I need midtravel ASAP now lol.

    Lmao!

I should roll my Subie her way then...catless and dyno tuned with 850cc injectors haha see if she still loves that smell then.

I hope the proposed race track/drag strip in Santa Maria breaks ground in our lifetimes lol.

Sadly where I live, corn juice pumps are NOWHERE to be found. :( I would have it tuned in a heartbeat for E85 if it was readily available for me...that's a no brainer. Love that smell too lol.

It's tuned for 2 maps, CA 91 octane "premium" and 100 octane VP race gas(for when I used to road race her at the track 3-4 times/year).

When I used to track her:

    NICE!!!!! Love the pics man!

Dry sump is the absolute best for a track-focused build. Jealous!

I stopped tracking my car, well because, it just got expensive lol. Tires, brake pads, rotors, FUEL....not to mention the beating the cars get.

My STi is total garage queen status now haha. Got her brand new December 2003, and the odometer to this day reads 31,6xx miles.

Yea there was a period where our data acquisition was showing us starving under high G left handers  That's why we went to a dry sump.

I hear ya on the spendy part! Dad is calling it quits this year.

Awesome low miles car man! Seriously looks really good.

 Starvation is your worst enemy on the track.

I was | | close to buying a race baffled oil pan for my STi because I was so worried about smoking a rod bearing on the high g cambered turns....then I realized and asked myself when it would stop lol. Next thing you know, a cage, then slicks, then fuel cell, then upgrading to JRZ suspension haha. Had to stop!

LOL, exactly the path my dad went :D JRZ 3 way, baffled oil pan still wasnt enough..., second hand hoosiers off cup cars, 2.3 stroker, FP black turbo, 14" rotors, full cage, corner weighted, bla bla bla 550 awd at wheel hp later the car was handing tuned corvette owners their ass and running cup car times easily/placing at NASA events... was fun but too much to upkeep without a team of support and sponsor money :(

Haha I ran a ported FP Green on my STi for a couple months. It just gets expensive, glad I decided to walk away from that 'hobby' for a little while LOL.

    ;)

Definitely. Private roads in Mexico at that. ;)

Finished up the install of my boost and afr guages today!

    Components list:

-Cravenspeed Flexpod steering column mounted, dual 52mm pods
    -Innovative MTX-L 52mm air/fuel ratio guage
-Defi White Racer 52mm boost guage

    ON/OFF/SIDE PROFILE:

    742013145659_zps2f08f576_af9c9035c21ada4cd73a7d1eb238fe9213a462a4.jpg

    Video of startup:

    http://youtu.be/L-ixXDvZCes

    Notes:

    - a few minor 'clearancing' modifications were needed on each of the back plastic retaining plates to fit the guages, no biggie.

    - Flexpod fits PERFECTLY, zero rubbing

    - Guages were relatively easy to wire in and install, being that I'm SUPER OCD about making things look oem, the longest part was routing and stuffing the excess wiring neatly behind panels.

    - Innovative afr guage took less than 5 mins to calibrate

    - My peak boost is where it needs to be--- 5psi

    - My afr's are piggggy rich lol. Pegged @ 10.0 redline. 2.85 pulley is next!
