Hey everyone. Gonna be buying a 3" lift right after Christmas is over. Been planning on buying the Toytec Ultimate but looking at the Icons I figured i mine as well spend a little bit more. Should I be looking at getting the Stage 2 and buying aftermarket uca's or spend another grand and get the Stage 3? And if I were to go with the Stage 3 would the billet uca's that come with it last me or would I need to get a seperate set? Any help is appreciated.

It depends on what you plan on doing if you want high speed desert mid travel then icon is good. If your just wanting it for show and trail running go for toytec.

Deff spend a little more and get the Stage 2 with the addition of UCA's. the billet ones look bad ass but not needed. The Stage 2 will blow the toytecs out the the water in ALL conditions (on road, slow speed and DEFF high speed). Not knocking toytec as they are a great company but ran those for awhile and was disappointed I couldn't get the truck over 15mph on some bumpy dirt roads out here. The icons get smoother at 15+ mph and are so controlled the truck becomes VERY stable. Reason why the won in their class at baja with a stock 1st gen tacoma!

The toytecs offer a very firm ride when cranked up past 2"

I would talk to cayucos Tacoma first........ He had em and they rode terribly firm.
I don't u derstand why.... I have the eibachs and 5100 set at zero and mine run soooo much smoother than his did. Doesn't make sense but I'm sure he will be happy to tell I bout it
