I've been looking at this site for a while now and I never see anything about RANCHO products, That means one of two things, either there too expensive or just not any good. Just wondering. there parent company is tenneco same as monroe and i've had bad luck with them in the past. opinions please.

I had them on my 96 tacoma probably close to 12 years ago. After a year, they leaked (inside) and lost function. They had a lifetime warranty at the time and I exchanged them .... so the new set failed after about a year. Never again. I've nicknamed them "Roncho"
A friend of mine with a tacoma had Roncho's and they leaked also.

Granted, that was 12 years ago... Did they improve quality since then? Personally, I wouldn't ever buy them again to find out.

I went with OME after that. OME is a little pricier...but worth it.

If you're on a budget... Doetsch shocks are pretty good. I ran the Prerunner's on my Jeep for years. They're like $45 each.

they're just not on the same level of quality that we expect around here. much better brands have worked their way into the light and they've proven themselves time and time again. Rancho is like the spacer lift of the shock world. if you run them, fine, but there's better options out there for your money
