When it snows just frequently wash the underside really well. A lot of people ignore that around here.

If you guys make the trip, Tuttle is only 20 mins from me. My group was out there today slipping and sliding. Buddy that rolled his jeep just picked up another TJ and took it along just to snap his out put shaft from the t-case...

I plan on coming out sometime, not sure about Colin, it will depend if he is still in town and if he can. I live in KC so will definitely make my way out sometime soon to check Tuttle out. I'll post up when I do so maybe we can hook up for some wheeling.

Sounds like your bud with the jeep is having nothing but a run of bad luck here lately. Hope that changes for him soon. How do Tuttle trails compare to Krocks trails? Any pics post them up.

I don't have too many of the trails but I will say half way through the day I always say I'm buying a trail beater.

Did you attend the Traxxus off road race they had there? Me and the wife went and had a pretty good time, the "Marshal" made sure he was in every shot on Speed Channel.

Thanks Reeves! Those are pretty similar to what I find on a Jeep forum as well. The ledges are a better pic than what they have. Your pic shows it to be more open than the ones they had posted.
I'm looking to head out there the 2nd weekend of Oct 11~13. I'll post up a week before with definite plans. Be nice to hook up for a run.

In Nov another Taco owner is coming from Florida to hunt his property in MO and may join me for a trip out that way for some trail runs. Know more later.

And as usual anyone else is welcome to join. I'll talk with a bud of mine that has a Tundra, he may want to join. He was in Denver the week of Krocks and wants to see what it can do offroad.

I made my wife stand in line with me for like an hour trying to get a fender or hood to hang in the garage...I had to settle for a signed poster from the Monster guys. I wanted to throw a fit like a child in a toy store since everyone around me was getting fiber glass lol

Ya me and my buddy were waiting for the monster energy Toyota truck to give away their glass for the longest time and we decided to ditch the idea and as we were leaving Bryce Menzies recognized me and gave me his door so I still left happy haha

Sold the sas taco. In a 4runner now so I'm not totally out of the game. Its all stock now but going for an "expedition" type rig. Itll be a change but definitely more practical for a dd.

Must be relatively new people then, I never saw anything but stock yotas around when I lived there. I've been gone for a few years now, the only ones I saw regularly were an all black FJ that was lifted and had some armor on it and one of the guys I used to mow for had a fleet of sweet FJ80s. 2 of em were built and the 3rd was still stock, he was waiting for his kids to be old enough to help him and they were gonna build it however they wanted and it'd be their first car. Wish my parents would've done that with me haha

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
is there anyone who goes to the randolf/tuttle creek ORV park?

not counting the street queens with flashy rims and low profile mud tires, i've seen 3 tacomas and 3-4 FJs that seemed to be purpose built with offroading in mind.

I went there a couple weekends ago. reeves and his buddy with an FJ live near tuttle. i met them out there last time. they're only about 20 minutes away. i'm about 2 hours.
