Why not just rebuild the SAWS?

The siped KM2s were WAY better in the winter. Unsiped ones on the snow and ice are ridiculously aweful.

Only one side looks rebuild able, driver side coil is bent from PO and has been wearing down the shock wall. Will save for some more if i'm not happy with the 5100's but have high hopes.

You can get new coils and shafts for the SAWS....thats why there rebuildable, would be cheaper and still better then the 5100's

Today I looked at it and thought, "Damn, that's a good looking truck!" But then, I think I do that every day I look at it ;)

I plan on doing that eventually but need to keep truck running in the mean time for work and having the 5100's as a backup seemed like a good idea. I plan on rebuilding them myself and have the rebuild kit for them, just don't want to be rushed for time and will do it at my own pace.

This, but I think he meant the coil is rubbing the body. But even the body is only $72 from Poly. It would probably be cheaper than buying 5100's too

Or $54 if you do need the shaft

Wasn't today but yesterday. Spent 11 hours cleaning the garage. Holy crap there was a lot of stuff in there that needed to get pulled out. Scrubbed the floor and did some MUCH needed organizing. Much better now.

I just put my topper back on again and realized how much it emphasizes how crappy my suspension is while driving.

Then I turned and looked at Ol' Red and frowned a bit thinking, "good lord you need a new suspension in a bad way" His rear end is all saggy, his front end practically useless  and is so worn out that I might as well be posting in the "lowered Tacoma" thread.

But then I thought, "One day, my friend... your soul will grow wings and you will rise up from the asphalt like a Phoenix. You will ride like a champ again... while looking like a total bad ass!"

Picked up some MAF cleaner, lucas oil fuel injector cleaner, and oem toyota spark plugs (only $20!!). The injector cleaner said it treats up to 21 gallons but I went ahead and used the whole thing when I filled up from empty (15 gallons). I'm thinking that was too much because my truck is sputtering a little and even died once. These symptoms only appeared in a parking lot 60+ miles after my fillup and adding the injector cleaner.

Going to clean the MAF and throttle body tomorrow and replace my ngk single electrodes with denso dual's.

On another note, does anyone have experience with seafoaming a high mileage tacoma? I have 233k on my truck and am scared to seafoam it because I have heard stories of big carbon deposits breaking loose and then clogging up the catalytic convertor.
