I havent spoken with him recently but I did receive my rear window kit on Monday this week. PM him he will eventually get back to you. Took him a couple weeks initially to get back to me when I wanted to order the kit.

Well, I was hoping to have it installed by the time I go on vacation in about 4 weeks. Looking doubtful at this point. I wish he could just give me a quick reply.

Just finished installing my kit! was actually pretty easy, except for mounting the switch on a 12/13. The button is too big to fit on the blank spots below the ac controls where i wanted to put it... Ended up mounting it in the small cubby to the lower right of the steer wheel.

Im all set for my trip next week!

I'm jealous!!! I would love to get one installed for my trip that's coming up in a few weeks but it's now been over a month since I first PM'd BenWA and I still have not received a response. I'm really starting to wonder if he decided to stop selling them. :(

Na, I'm sure hes still selling them, and he will continue to sell the kits for the dc's. However its strange that he has disappeared for nearly a month now...

    Hey guys,
For those of you who have done this mod, have any of you used a switch same as the blulogic phone switch? I've got an extra one that fits in the small knockouts in the center console under the climate controls. I'm thinking that this switch would work as it's got the up down arrow's on it. The only thing is that I would want to get rid of the picture of the phone on the center button. I've pulled the cover off the connector and I just need to figure out the pinouts on this.

Has anyone else attempted to use this switch? If so, do you already know what the pinouts are. There's 6 wires coming out of the switch (blue, white, red, green yellow and it looks like an outer shield that is terminated in the switch too.
Was also thinking that maybe even wiring in the center button so that when you push it, it opens the window all the way with one push vs. holding down one of the arrow buttons.

What do you guys think? Feasible?

I did the mod. Used the same switch BenWa used.

Your idea seems feasible, and sounds pretty cool with that type of feature. I might have to try this :D

    Found the switch here.

I think I paid 15-20 bucks for mine online. I will go back through my msg's and see if i can find it and the link as I know there are 2 sizes of the switch. One for the knockouts to the left of your steering wheel and one for the smaller ones below the climate controls.

I'm going to test out the pins tonight on this to see which is which.

    sounds good man.

This switch would fit perfectly in the blanks. The switch that I have now is just a little bit tad small to fit in the blank to make it look OEM-ish.

How'd the test go on the Blu logic switch?

If it works, I'll prolly get me that switch.

Man, first of all I want to say Kudos to BenWA for his ingenuity, this is a brilliant mod. I read in one of his post he was working two day jobs and dealing with a family tragedy while trying to put this together. That has to be extremely taxing on anyone. BenWA I hope that your family issues work out for you and thanks again for putting forth this offer.
That being said, my wife works for LegalZoom and I can see if there is anything that she can do to help you get started. I would even consider becoming an investor because I think the idea is THAT good. I did send a PM and have not heard back so I hope everything is OK. I am definitely interested in either model of this product and I think once word got out via other forums, you may even be able to quit those pesky day jobs and devote your time to new innovations. Put me on the list of definitelys, and remember that there are a lot of members here (including myself) that would be glad to help out where we could.
Thanks again and hang in there Ben.

Still no news on this mod huh. Bummer. I wish I at least new where to get the motor and an idea of the pieces used on the mod. Seems like a motor/assembly from a moon roof or something. I am Jonesing to get this mod done!
