I've been a member of the Tacoma community for about 2.5 weeks now. Drove of the lot with a Black '09 4x4 Double Cab w/TRD Off Road and could not be happier with my decision. I look forward to having it for a long time and putting it through its paces. Working on making it truly off road ready (recovery equipment, jerrycans, etc.). Trying to do what functional/makes sense rather than having stuff just to have it. I am always open to suggestions and trying to find a better way. Already love the site and appreciate the time all of you have put in.

Hey welcome to TW! Congrats on the new purchase! You can pretty much find all that you want on here. Post some pics of your truck when you get the chance!

Greetings from San Diego and welcome to Tacoma World. Congrats on the truck! A recovery vehicle? Wow, that's a big undertaking. I've seen some on here. They are great rides to look at and see the investments they're making on them.

My recovering will be more along the lines of self recovery and buddy aid (straps, shovels, traction aids, maybe a winch in the future). Don't really have the know-how or the $$$ to make a serious recovery vehicle.
