Sliders on a 2wd

I'm thinking about doing sliders on my tacoma it's a first get access cab I like the look of them what do you guys think

I'm 2wd and I have sliders its nice to have because offroading never know what's gunna happen.
Couple perks of having sliders you can use them to jack up your truck with the hi lift and then also at parking lots people can't door ding you and shopping carts.

 

This is a true statement.

 

That was one of the main reasons I got mine

 

So, what's suggested for sliders? I want some just in case, for the door dings, and the step without looking like an asshole with running boards.

Go for it. I've had sliders on my last 2 2wds. Even get compliments on them. And I bought them primarily for parking lot protection

 

I'm going to have them custom built but going taking in some of the others desgin

Look at demello they have a good selection of sliders

 

Until a couple of weekends ago, the only carnage my sliders took was from a door in a parking lot.

 

Check out local fab shops and maybe save on some freight.
