Finally built up the courage to take the sway bar off. I'm defiently going to have to get use to it. I might end up putting it back on, and just take it off for wheelin trips. Doesn't seem like the best mod for the curvy mountain roads.

    And some driveway flex:

Some front flex and poser shots, for wheeling I'm loving the sway bar removed.

I don't think it would've done this with the sway bar:

Cool truck, I like the AAL look. I might have to do a Satoshi style some day. I definitely did NOT like the feel of no sway bar and my friends said it looked like my truck was about to roll over on curvy highways. With a shell and roof rack raising my CoG I decided to put it back on. I can deal with the slightly less flex

Yeah, still feels a bit interesting turning the wheel back and forth driving down the road. For sudden movements it's really noticable, but just typical turns it doesn't feel like it's about to roll over, definetly more body roll, but not terrible. Being it only took me ~20 minutes to take it off, I think I'm just going to remove it as needed.

As far as the Satoshi goes, I picked up a cheap black grill off ebay for $40 shipped, and the metal cost me $10. Mine is far from perfect but I think it turned out pretty good, and I still have the stock grill if I ever want to go back.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. I feel like this thread is more pictures than build, but I'm glad someone thinks I'm accomplishing something

Made an order from Superbrightleds to get a couple things:

    New reverse bulb comparison
    [IMG]

Found out I was suppose to have a glove box light
    [IMG]

Color matched my climate control bulbs to my headunit:

And also got some really bright dome and map lights. I did have to add some 1w 100ohm resistors to make them work with the key off though.

    Did this:

So I hammered on it a little, got it back a little flater, and painted it up.

Made what I believe is my biggest order to date for my truck this morning. My original suspension order might have been more, but I don't remember for sure.

Anyways, I'll keep you guys waiting as I'm waiting :D

That bumper painted black is gonna look soooo clean!
Idk about that brand of LED lighting (probably no different than mine) but the Rigid D2s that I have are very bright! You're gonna love both of those goodies!!

One question though, why the yellow lens over your LEDs?

The amber should work better in certain conditions like snow and fog. I can't say I'm an expert on it, but I get a lot of snow.

I live up in the mountains and we didn't get hit too hard here. I read that we got over 3", which was more than the last 3 months combined. No flooding like the Front Range, but the kayakers were out on the river.
