Has anyone tried putting on a front and back heavy duty bumper without beefing up the suspension. I just ordered a front and back from all pro and I know I don't have to worry about the rear but just wanted to know if I can go without a heavier front suspension, thanks.

It's going to pull it down a bit but the biggest issue you will have is dampening. Slowing all that weight down takes heavier spring and appropriate shock valving. You will get more familiar with your bumpstops for sure. You can get away with it but best to match your suspension for the weight for both performance and safety.

CBI Moab with Superwinch 8500 on stock coils and 5100's, noticed a negligible amount of drop.

Depends on the weight of the bumper and if you are going to add a winch, also your preferences on ride quality and your budget.

    ^^

I rode with my ARB on stock suspension for a while. I hated it. I lived in the mountains and it was not pleasant driving on curvy and steep grades. I chose to put on OME 886 and matching Nitrocharger shocks.

What kind of driving/off-roading do you do? What kind of budget will you be working with when you do your suspension?

BruteForceFab front and rear bumpers on Stock OR suspension for a couple of months along with different wheels and stock tires. Drive normally and you'll be fine.

Drive normal varies for everyone. Normal for my terrain was horrible with the ARB on stock.

How much lift did you get? Ride quality? Did you do UCAs? I just got my Elite front bumper, looking to put a warm M8000 in there, I have LR UCAs to put on, just gotta pull the trigger on suspension, thinking of going with the 886 and Nitrochargers. Stupid money pit.

about 3", I was excited and forgot to measure. The bumper was on the stock suspension so measurements wouldn't have been accurate. I have LR UCAs, I like the ride, some say it's too stiff but it's not there truck. More weight would make it softer.

I do a lot of city driving and only do a little off roading. I don't have that big if budget because of spending $2,000 on the front and rear bumper but I could probably manage around $500 for some better suspension.

Good all around multi-purpose set up would be old man emu. Won't break the bank, performs well for about anything.

Many of the vendors on this forum sell the OME kit. For front suspension, it would include a pair of front shocks, pair of front springs. A trim packer, heavier duty front springs and carrier bearing drop are some optional items.

But... that will still lift you >2.5" over a stock suspension in the front. You indicated in the initial post that you don't want to mess with the rear suspension.
