What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

De-badged, spraypainted door emblems and front grill emblem flat black and then re-badged. Still have to do the back. The chrome was becoming a real eye sore!

Its a security product you can buy. I have one but not sure of the brand. I think I stumbled on it when I was looking at tuffy security products.

Yeah! I forgot to take the picture before putting everything back together. I find that the hat does a great cover of the license plate. It all matches.

 

What did i do to my Tacoma today? Scraped about a pound of rust off the frame with my fingers.........

got the heated mirrors installed and working

 

De-baged the tailgate. Looks much better, less cluttered and smooth. I'm thinking about the door badges, not sure yet.

 

Due to where I have it mounted, I didn't get any glare off the hood, it did shine on it a bit, but no glare for me. It is however, insanely bright. As I type this, I still have a huge grin on from just testing it out about 10 minutes ago. I'm seriously considering ditching my 2 HID converted hellas and replacing them with a 20" bar in my grill.

 

found out the used engine I purchased has a crack in one of the oil return passage super stoked about that considering my truck is in pieces
