Tyler is $$$, but I do need to talk to him about possibly putting on my sliders.
I'm sure I could make something myself, but I'm not sure i wanna do something that permanent, plus having it there would be a pain to QD it.

i don't need that kind of range, so I bet the bumper mount would work.

 

Good stuff ain't cheap and cheap stuff ain't good. Mag mount is another option.

Back corner sucks, just because you have to load crap around it. Get used to sayin "watch my antenna" everytime that tailgate drops.

I just don't really like mag mounts, they mess up the paint if you leave them on and I don't really trust magnets to hold a whip on.
If I can find a quick disconnect then I'd go with one in the rear bumper, but all I found were fire stick QD's and I'm not sure if those will work.

Also true, but I think a QD would work since I could disconnect it when I don't need the antenna, and hopefully I won't be loading anything when we go wheeling.

 

I have one of those in my garage. They don't come off.

Because the dbl cabs have the wheel well in the front of the bed. I would look at mounted whatever antenna in one of the corners, don't lose much space and it protected. Has a nice flat surface to mount something to also.

Got a cobra 75wxst for sale. Damn near brand new. New ground strap, coax cable, and 3ft firestik. Also have a relentless hood mount if you want to go that route. Primed, painted, and clear coated. $100 for errrythang.

I have a question about those hood mounts^. Does anyone know how much glare you get off of the hood with lights mounted on those?

 

I've got a HUGE snatch rope sittin in my back yard. I wanna go see the dodge!

 

I think my quad would run over that though, I'll have to check when I get the shell off.
