Not me. I'll come out with less than 5k in debt and I'm paying my own way. Straight cash from my savings.

What's financial aid? What are student loans? Military TA is AWESOME to have! 4500 for free schooling per year, and you can top up if you want to go more. I will probably end up using most of that TA this year though.

Nah, wasn't worried about that at the time. Truck is fine, the car needs a bumper, grill, possible hood and headlight

As a rule of thumb you always take pictures, and there's not much of an excuse in today's age of technology :p

I was in the back seat of a car with my roommate driving and another roommate in the passenger seat. Well a lady, in a black car and this was at night, pulled up behind us, turned off her head lights, and pretty much camped out there.

Well when we started backing up guess what happened? The speed he hit her was so slow, I would have been comfortable letting him hit me. He gets out of the car, a little paint chip on his bumper and she gets out, her car is dinged to hell, and says everything is fine. exchanges info (yeah ok...) and that's that, Well a day late she claims back pain

no pictures were taken no nothing so we had no proof of any damage or anything. The only reason she dropped her case is because she didnt know my roommate had 2 other people in the car.

I came away with zero debt after my bachelor's degree. Granted I paid for it with blood and sweat.

Haha this pretty much decribes the situation when I got rear ended. No pictures, just a dent in my bumper, her whole front end destroyed. I got $410 when it was over.

I came out ahead thanks to the NM lottery scholarship among other scholarships I somehow got for writing pointless essays.

I definitely have some friends that have quite a bit of debt due to not keeping that GPA.

I had a guy rear end me once at a stop light, luckily into my tube bumper. I waved him to turn off the main road and I started to and he kept going straight. So I ended up following him to his house while calling the cops for a hit and run (since I didn't know what kind of damage there was). He was obviously drunk. He parked in his driveway and he came at me belligerent asking why I was following him so I just cracked my window and told him that he hit me at a light. Started to get aggressive swearing he didn't hit anything and so I drove off and waited at the nearest intersection for cops to come. Took them 2 hours...-faceplam- and at that point they were past the time limit where they could legally get him for DUI. No damage to mine luckily.
