Hey Gabe! I met you out there at the big meet in OW lqst night with the only other 2.7L! man... your truck is truly awesome and watching you climb those hills out there was so damn cool! It was good to finally meet you and see your truck in action because i have been lovin your Monster ever since i got on here!
Will definitely look into the LCE header soon, was it a straight bolt on up to your exhaust or did you have to take it in to an exhaust shop for install?

Thought I would update you guys....been pretty busy with the reg cab lately. Just finished the BHLM mod and satoshi grill...also color matched the grill with paint from automotivetouchup.com. Also installed foglights.

    So far:
    2009 Taco, 5 spd, SR5
    Wet Okole seat covers
    OEM Fogs
Satoshi Grill (made by me with homer taco mesh)
    BHLM
    Raceline Raptor Wheels
    BFG AT's 265/75/16
1 inch spacer on front (due to previous rubbing)
Plasti dipped badges and rear bumper
    Aftermarket clutter catcher console
    Window Tint
Kobalt low profile black tool box

Love this thing...hope you guys approve. I've gotten lots of compliments on the grill....I live in a small town and I've only seen one or two besides mine. Check the U-bolts and shackles.
Leaf spring suspensions weren't really designed with drifting in mind ;)

    You need a panhard bar.

Traction bars will stop axle wrap, but won't keep it centered.

But a panhard bar doesn't lend itself to a long-ish travel suspension.

Runs across the rear end above the axle.
Lower end is attached to the axle near the spring mount.
Other end is attached to the frame above the opposite spring mount.

That's why it's not good for longer travel suspensions... as the axle moves up and down, it causes SOME lateral movement (pushes out as it compresses), and in combination with traction bars or a 3-link suspension, tends to bind a bit. Properly designed 4-link suspensions don't tend to bind because they don't put much of an arc into the axle's travel.
