Put a can in your gas a couple of hundred miles before an oil change.
It also great for small engines, especially something that you do not run very often, such as a generator. You can use it as a gas stabalizer.

I know this is an old thread but I'm thinking of seafoaming my truck. It has 233k on it and has been regularly taken care of since 160K (When my dad bought it. I bought it at 222k). I want to seafoam to get it running as good as possible since I just did plugs, wires, cleaned MAF and throttle body. I am scared because of my miles so instead of doing 1/3 of a can at once through the booster could I just do a little at a time? This would be in hopes of cleaning a little at a time rather than breaking big hunks out or does it not work like that?

If you have the V6 the brake booster line is the wrong line to use. It will clean only one cylinder. Use the PVC or (my preference) the larger line on the upper rear of the TB that goes to the charcoal canister.

I've always read the 3.4 should go through brake booster line because it goes to all cylinders

Am I missing something? It looks like the line in the second pic only feeds into one intake runner... How would that do anything for the other five cylinders?

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to use the one coming out of the front of the engine to get all cylinders.

Last time I did it I used the line that connects just past the throttle body. Seemed to work great.

You and ALL the folks that keep repeating it are 100% wrong.

Gear Head, you got it. The PVC line can also be used but it is on the side of the intake and will tend to favor the front cylinders.
For anyone that cares, the "flat" on the side of the TB gasket is intended to create a bit of turbulence just ahead of the PVC port to help mix the crankcase vapors in the intake plenum.
Edit, Gear Head, you need brake fluid.
