    I would try teflon tape first. If you do use loctite, use the blue stuff so that you can take the knob off in the future in case you need to disassemble the console.

    Edit: If that doesn't work, I'd say the truck is totalled.

    I'm thinking a small piece of hard rubber would give you the most flexibility.

    Ideally it would hit and start to compress the rubber before it was where you wanted it and then progressively tighten as you got closer to straight.

    Out here for work, spent tge last couple days averaging 18 to 20 hrs a day, so we are taking a day and just sleeping and chillen before we head back west

    have that same shifter and gotta say i love it and it feels better than the stock shifter partially because its bigger
