I actually owned an '03 for a short bit. It was an access cab and was a pain getting our baby in and out of that every day. We sold it a couple months ago to free up some money.

Other than the access cab/door situation, I loved that truck though. Once you stepped on the gas that thing would move. It was easier to get around since it was smaller than the new Tundras. Gas mileage was fair (better than I thought it was going to be).

It was an extra vehicle though, so we decided to sell it. It irks me even bringing it up because we got such a good deal on it (bought it off my uncle's repossessed lot for only $5K)! I regret selling it. Wife is the one that mainly wanted to get rid of it.

turbo 05 prerunner trd off road DC
Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
That why I said an 04-06 since they were available in a double cab. it has more room in the back the the taco and bed and all so seems only logical to me if the taco is just a touch too small.

Yeah, forgot to say thanks for the suggestion. It has crossed my mind. I'll have to look more into them.
