Oil field truck with 250k miles...original powertain. Wheelers 881's/5-pack, Energy bushings throughout.
That is very hard to say, it all depends on materials, driving style and whatnot.
It's not like it will be cut In half, but I would guesstimate a 20% reduction.

The driveability is wh bothers me... in MOST cases the segmented clutches are a lot more grabby, and can be irritating in traffic or around town.

Well im not sure what im going to do with it. I got it in the mail today. My original plan was to get the marlin crawler 1200 lb kit, but they are out of stock and they said it would be between 1-3 weeks before they got more. I bought the trail gear kit because it was in stock and I was hoping to get everything done before school starts at the end of this month. Sorry for the rant lol

Am I missing something? Is there only one lifting point on the 3RZ engine? I can't find a second one.

Also, is there any reason I can't use a fuel filter and lines from a 5VZ? It's a helluva lot easier to access.

Pretty sure the HD clutch kits from TG and Marlin will be better and last longer than the stock toyota clutch. Especially if your running larger tires. MarlinCrawler has a 1,200lb clutch kit too. Blackdawg and 01tac0ma just recently bought the TG 1,600 HD clutch kit and they seem happy

Alright, so I'm finally getting around to ordering rear shocks, which ones should I get? 5100's and eaibach coils up front and the all-pro standard pack in the rear, stock shackles. Or have I just completely over looked the answer?

Get some Bilstein 5125's in the correct length for your rear lift.

Yesterday I finished up installing my eibachs, 5100s, and dakars. Took me a total of three days since I had to cut damn near every bolt out of there. What a pain, but I'm very glad its done now! Before it settles, I ended up getting about 4 inches in the front and almost 5 in the back...shows how bad the stock suspension was sagging.

I also put on new front brake pads and calipers, did an oil change, bled the brakes, extended the rear brake line, washed it inside and out, and received my pro comp 7069s in the mail!

I haven't noticed any vibrations or anything so far. I'll still take it in for an alignment in a few days though. I have to say, the thing I noticed the most after driving it for the first time was how much better the braking performance was...kinda scary :anonymous:

Ran well, took a bit longer than I thought it should to start but I was averaging 20mpg the last tankful. I expect a bit more this time and it has a little more on the bottom end.

Wheeler's five pack leaf springs, Bilstein 5100s (rear), front tint, windshield top tint, Century Camper Shell/Cap/Topper, Wade window visors, Wade bug shield, cassette adaptor (so I can play Slacker Radio via my phone!), Sunday Blues with Dar sticker, Wounded Warrior Project sticker, no NRA sticker 'cause I don't wanna advertise ;-)
That looks great! Do you have any weight (besides the topper) in it when you took the pic? I'm thinking that if I load up my truck pretty well for camping, etc. I may like to have the AAL installed...my five pack is looking pretty flat when I load up the bed.

Why bother trying to work around the engine bay when you can simply cut it off with the bandsaw you just bought?
