    Last I heard SLP was closed off to vehicles now - but that was in mid-June, and I haven't been to SLP in about 2 years. Not since the Homeless Jesus incident.... Egret Bay was always alright.

    yeah, and lots junk to scratch up my truck... plus I am tired of going to DS Offroad . Anahuac beach will work, its an hour a way to get there. I have not been to SLP in a while so I didnt no that.

    Im not sure why everyone like slp? Bryan beach is way better.and if you go back by the river they have some tails and hills you can climb. Just make sure you air down! ! Lol seen that sand swallow 4x4 trucks

    I never could bring myself to pay 100 bucks a month just ti workout, but seeing some of the girls in there. Makes its so much worth it

    yeah, i was big into it in 2005-2007 until a few injuries. I almost had my command willing to pay for my certifications. I'm just now getting back into it, and as if it didn't suck enough, I'm in the desert during summer - in ramadan.... guess i'll have to outrun and out pullup the hajjis...

    Yeah, but you go every day so $100 a month isn't that bad at all. Try hiring a personal trainer. Most start at $60/hr and require 3-4 sessions a week. My powerlifting guy gave me the friend discount at 30/hr for four sessions a week. It was expensive as hell but it really paid off.

    I just don't like the mechanics of CrossFit. I've seen some of the competitions on TV and thought that some of the "exercise" movements they do are a recipie for injury. Not saying that you can't get a great workout with CrossFit, but you can get the same workout and intensity doing it by yourself, but it takes discipline. CrossFit is the latest and greatest fad IMHO.
