I got 2000km on my 2013 TRD now and when the truck is idling there is a rattling vibration coming from the front/inside engine bay somewhere.. Sounds exactly like the skid plate would sound if it was vibrating.. Anyone ever have this, happen to know what it is?

I'm assuming its still under warranty? Take it back to the dealer.

I heard the same thing on mine today. It was idling while I was doing something in the garage. It would do it, and then stop on it's own, and then start up again. Mine actually did sound like it was coming from the skid plate up front. I drove it down to the mailbox, which is about a mile and let it idle again when I got back and it didn't do it again. I'll be listening for it to happen again. It's only got 250 miles on it, so I doubt something has come loose on it's own. Probably more of a case where something isn't getting tightened correctly on the line. If I discover mine, I'll let you know.

It's probably your air-intake pipe, vibrating against the fender.

It hasn't happened to me in a long time now, truck has 4700km on it now. I think it's got something to go with the ambient air temp.. I remember it being around 5 to 10° out.
