Slp is still open to vehicles... Just don't drive on the dunes. Last time I was there was about 6 weeks ago and they had enforcement guys to get all the Jeepers off the dunes.

depends on where you go, but that's generally about the cost per month. most of the time that entitles you to open gym privileges where you can work out as often or as much as you want. if you have LEO/FD/mil/first responder friends, they might be able to get a discount for you under their name. CF is huge with support to those guys. You could also just make your own home gym for pretty cheap and follow the WODs based on the website. I did that for the longest time - even made our own row machine. Sure it wasn't pretty and didn't "work", but the thought was there. The cost for the gym is because you're not only paying to help keep the doors open (for usually small business owners - chances are they don't have the numbers visiting as a globo-gym), but also the equipment, the coach's knowledge, but more importantly the camraderie that is associated with the group suffering and the subsequent connection/motivation/competition amongst the other people. just my humble opinion

I like crossfit because IN MODERATION, you build functional fitness, mobility, flexibility and the such. Sure, repping 500lbs is cool, but how are you going to use that in real life? How do you wipe your mud butt when you are a body builder? There are the Rich Fronings of the world who take it and become fanatics about it, and good for them. I've seen plenty of that in my time in Iraq and Afghanistan loljk. I do what I can, and when my body says no mas, it means no mas.

and there's always multiple tumblr sites to pique your interest. i'd post them, but trashcanistan will flag my IP and i get my pee pee smacked in pretty hard core, esp considering the religiosity of ramadan...

they even shut down a few buildings specifically for the use of the locals for mosques...

That's why I DO like CrossFit. Functional = life saving

Because repping 500lbs is fucking cool. I may think that most body builders go a bit far for my tastes, but its awesome to see what the human body can look like and achieve.

As far as ass wiping, that's why I take my dumps in the backyard. Just turn on the garden hose and spray away.

7 days a week?? Most pro crossfiter dont even go 5 days a week. Not because they dont want to because they cant Lol.

Body building and crossfit is like bud light to miler light, not the same. For most body builders dobt like cardio, and most crossfit people dont like isolation muscle movements.

And to answer when would you ever rep 500lbs??? When you get to drunk amd bring home big sue ann home. While yoyr getting rapped, by a 400lb chick, you're going to wish you had that upoer body

Clarification: it's open to attend seven days a week. You aren't limited (other than by your body) to attending x-number of sessions a week.

I'm not saying I rep 500lbs because I can't, but if you're bringing a 400lbs woman home you've got more problems than upper body strength.

For real, you should probably be doing more dead lifts and squats for the fat chicks.

Go big or go home. Dead lift and squat the fat chick while you're at it. Train like you fight, right?

That's an all in one crossfit workout for free... All you have to deal with is the shame and self loathing afterwards...

I think at that point "shame" and "self-loathing" aren't in your vocabulary. That got thrown out the window a long time ago.

I don't have any experience with fat chicks.... We should ask Dennis what his thoughts are. He likes bagging whales from time to time.

and her cleaning out your pantry and fridge. i play rugby, i generally have a hppy mix of crossfit and weight training since i'm a packie. gotta be able to rumble with the big boys and have enough speed/fitness to catch the semi-fast mid fielders. the way i see it, as long as you are getting your workout in, good on ya.

Just put the food on the top shelf, it's not like a step stool can hold her. So when she's leaves to eat just double dead bolt the door and sprinkle some bacon down the street and she won't come back.

Thats what im saying, its open 7 days a week. But most people get to sore to do 7 days. No matter how often you do crossfit, you should still be sore the next day.

Deadlifts and squats aint going to get a 400lb chick off of you. Lol doing deadlifts and squats that means you want to help her off the ground
